Low mood is not you. If it were, it would have to be around all the time in order for you to be you. And as any of us who have experienced low mood (i.e. all of us) know, low moods always pass. With mindfulness practice, we can change our relationship to all our thoughts and feelings and eventually, learn to directly influence them for the better.
