Let's talk about being in control.
There are moments in life where everything feels chaotic.
Plans fall apart,
Emotions take over,
And we're left grasping for something steady.
It's easy to believe that control means having everything go our way,
But real control,
Well that's about how we respond when things don't.
So let's begin by pausing.
Take a slow breath in and a long breath out.
Instead of trying to control what happens around you,
Just notice what's within your reach,
Your breath,
Your attitude,
The way that you speak to yourself and to others.
These are the levers of true control.
They're quiet,
They're steady,
And they are always available.
And as you breathe,
Just ask yourself,
What can I let go of today and what can I reclaim?
As Viktor Frankl once said,
When we are no longer able to change a situation,
We're challenged to change ourselves.
You may not be able to control everything,
But you can always control your next breath,
Your next step,
Your next choice.
And sometimes that's more than enough.
Thank you so much for joining me.
