Welcome to Meditation Tides with Michelle Sanctuary.
Let the tides of tranquility soften the world that you co-create in your daily life.
You are listening to Let it Breathe,
A guided meditation to help you set an intention,
To give the space to let it breathe,
Whatever it may be.
I am Michelle and you may think of me as a comforting guide who has your best interests at heart and in mind.
Together we will craft an approach to life that brings a sense of lightness and safety as you decenter outside influences and focus on your inner world.
With this sentiment,
Turn your attention to your breath and let out a sigh.
Visualize your breath flowing out of your mouth and claiming the space around you.
Every molecule radiates your intention,
Surrounding you in a protective orb.
Though only seen by you,
All who cross your path today will sense that you come peacefully,
Thoughtfully,
And ready to let it be as you let it breathe.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest as you inhale deeply,
Taking in the promise of a day unburdened by expectations,
Letting go of the idea that you need to do anything more than observe and give life the space it deserves.
With an audible exhale,
Free yourself of pressure and welcome a day that flows as gracefully as sunlight rays piercing through the turquoise water of a crystal clear lake.
As you inhale again,
Your breath becomes a golden stream of light flowing through you like the warm rays of the sun on a summer afternoon.
As your body expands,
This light grows brighter,
Filling you with warmth and energy.
As you exhale,
Watch it spread outward like a ripple in a tranquil,
Glassy lake,
Affecting the world around you in positive ways.
Allow your breath to return to an easy rhythm as you bring to mind something that may have been restricting your breath lately.
A worry,
A fear,
A person,
A task,
Or maybe an expectation.
Picture it as a dense,
Dark cloud hovering within you.
As you exhale,
Say to yourself,
What if I just let it breathe?
Feel your breath transform into a powerful wind,
Breaking up the cloud as the golden light of your breath and intention begins to break through like the first rays of sunlight breaking through a morning fog.
With each breath,
The cloud begins to dissipate,
Drifting away to a faraway land as it no longer serves you.
Feel the tightness in your chest dissolve as the golden light bathes your entire being,
Illuminating every corner of your mind and body.
The air around you shimmers with a sense of possibility,
A reminder that you have the power to create space and clarity.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Visualize future versions of yourself moving through the day.
See yourself encountering challenges,
Stressful situations,
Or moments of uncertainty.
But this time,
Before reacting,
You pause.
You take a deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
You say,
I'm gonna let it breathe.
Everything has its own unique vibration and energy,
And you vow to let it breathe.
Notice how this simple act brings clarity,
How it slows down the rush of emotions,
And how it allows you to respond from an empowering place of calm rather than reactivity.
See yourself making decisions,
Having conversations,
Taking actions,
All with the intention to let it breathe.
You navigate through life with a sense of ease and composure,
Knowing that you have the power to create space with every breath you take.
As we come to the end of this meditation,
Take one final deep breath in,
Holding onto this feeling of spaciousness,
And slowly exhale,
Letting out any remaining tension.
Carry this practice with you throughout your day and your life.
And when things feel tight,
When emotions run high,
When triggers lurk,
Or when the world feels too intense,
You will ask yourself,
What if I just let it breathe?
Feel free to bring movement back to your body,
Wiggling fingers and toes,
And gently fluttering open your eyes with a new perspective.
Thank you for letting me be part of your journey today.
I hope you move forward with a lighter heart and a peaceful mind.
Always remembering the power of your breath.
Until next time,
This is Michelle,
Wishing these meditation tides bring you tranquility and ease as you let it breathe.
