Transcript

Take a comfortable position.

Gently close your eyes and begin to relax.

Take a deep breath in and gently breathe out.

We're going to take one more deep breath in and gently breathe out.

If you wish you can place your hands on your tummy and notice how with each deep breath in how your tummy expands and when you breathe out how your tummy slowly goes down.

Just concentrating on your breathing.

There is nothing to do as your body is doing it all by itself.

Breathing nice and deeply in and gently out.

Now I would like you to visualize a big balloon hovering just above your head.

What color is it?

What shape is it?

Is it round or long or possibly some other shape?

How large is it?

Now with each deep breath you exhale see how the balloon is growing.

Each out breath filling up the balloon making it become larger and larger.

If you look closely you can see that with every out breath not only is your balloon becoming larger but you are releasing all the sadness,

Anger,

Frustration,

Everything that you don't like all of it into the balloon.

Furthermore each time you inhale you can see a marvelous shining light traveling throughout your whole body.

Exhaling you are watching how everything negative goes into the balloon.

Inhaling you are feeling all the negativity being replaced with a shining light traveling throughout your mind,

Body,

Heart and around you.

This shining light is now growing so strong that it begins to shine all around you.

Growing stronger and stronger you feel so happy,

Joyous and peaceful.

No room is left for anything negative.

Everything inside of you,

Calm,

Peaceful,

Full of love and understanding for yourself and the world around you.

Take another look at your balloon above you.

You can feel a pleasant breeze and your balloon begins to fly away from you.

Taking with it everything that no longer serves you.

Floating slowly away,

Further and further distance.

So far away that all you see is a small dot in the horizon.

One more deep refreshing breath and the balloon completely disappears.

Taking all the negative thoughts and feelings with it.

You are feeling energized and calm.

You know you are also here to shine and share the feelings of calm,

Love,

Joy and happiness with everyone you know and meet.

Just relax a little moment longer and when ready gently open your eyes.

Lovely. I did this with my daughters (11 and 9). We each chose a word to describe how we felt after the meditation. We chose: “Sparkly”, “Light” and “Gone”. Thank you so much. So relaxing before bed.
