Can you trust your own experience?
Settling into the body now,
As a gateway to cultivating trust in present moment reality experience.
As a way of taking refuge in nowness,
In hereness,
In realness.
Directing the attention to the balance of sitting,
Or the weightiness of lying down.
Or even the precariousness of standing,
If that is the position you have assumed.
What is your experience of the stillness?
Can you be the stillness and the movement?
The rest and the flow.
Flowing from one moment into another.
And then this.
And this.
This being here.
This being present.
This opening to experience.
Noticing the patterns of breathing.
And the rhythm of the beating heart.
And now if possible and as best you can.
Turning towards the body as a unified state of aliveness.
The body from the bottom to the top,
From left to right,
Front to back.
Fully engaged.
Expected.
And now we are noticing that the moment we stop looking for something inside or out.
That our experience becomes whole.
And the commentary drifts away.
Of course only to return when we notice patterns of mind and thought buses.
And it is at this point where we begin again.
Where we begin again.
That it is the noticing which is the refuge.
Listen to that.
.
What is your experience now of what is arising?
Be that internal or external?
Do you notice a struggle?
Let the clarity of this noticing be that which punctures the struggle.
Let the breath be the balm which soothes the wound.
Resting in unrestricted experience.
Allowing that experience to fill us,
Connect us,
Infuse us with trust.
Can I be with this?
How can I trust this now?
This being here now.
