Welcome to the meditation.

This meditation offers you an opportunity to relax and settle into the calm and quiet frequencies of evening stillness as you are guided into a restful night's sleep.

So get comfortable in your area of evening rest,

Wherever that might be,

Whether it's in your bed,

Or on a couch,

Or on the floor,

Wherever you will feel comfortable and available to sleep into a long night's sleep.

And close your eyes.

Let's take a nice,

Gentle,

Slow,

Deep breath in and exhale.

And another breath in and out.

And one more gentle breath in and out.

And as you continue to breathe,

Feel your body becoming more relaxed,

As if each breath within,

You're inhaling air in the atmosphere that's calming,

Slowing you down.

And with each breath out,

You're letting go of any excess energy that no longer serves you,

Or might get in your way of sleeping deeply this evening.

Breathing in and out.

Continuing this pattern,

Feeling more and more relaxed,

So comfortable,

Supported by wherever you're lying,

In the ground below you,

In the peaceful air around you.

Everything is supportive as you're guided into your deepest,

Restful night's sleep.

And as you continue to breathe,

Gently notice the atmosphere around you,

Slowing down,

Getting quieter,

And begin to expand your awareness,

Gently and easily,

Beyond your current space,

The room that you're in,

Expanding beyond your home or apartment,

Continuing to expand outside in front of you,

Behind you,

To your left,

And your right.

Your gentle awareness begins to expand further and further as you open up to the beautiful and expansive night sky high above you,

So clear.

You may feel the quietness as you begin to expand your awareness upward into the nighttime sky.

You may feel a floating sensation that's very easy and safe.

You feel supported and your breath guides you as you're floating into the night sky and you begin to become one with the night.

The busyness of the earth begins to dissipate as it becomes quieter and quieter,

Almost as if the volume of the earth has been gently decreased to a level of being completely muted.

Just for now and just for this evening as you begin to blend and merge with the evening stillness,

An eternal stillness that lasts forever and is so peaceful and so healing.

Starting to breathe gently supported by this expansive stillness in the night sky,

So calm and serene.

Within each inhale and exhale,

You breathe in the stillness and exhale the stillness,

Breathing it in and out and in and out.

The evening stillness fills all of your body from head to toe as all of your cells become more still and more calm as you are guided into a deep and healing night's sleep.

You gently float amongst the stars,

Feeling one with the night and the peaceful darkness.

You blend and you merge with everything in the atmosphere,

Releasing distractions,

Thoughts and feelings.

All of that just floats away from you at a very easy and simple pace,

For you are in this evening stillness,

So consistent and deep.

Expanding further into the quiet night sky,

Feeling so safe and guided,

You are allowed to have this peaceful evening rest,

Supported by the night sky,

Always there above you,

Available to you,

An evening escape,

Offering you peace in this stillness.

The air around you feels lighter and lighter,

Supporting you as you float in the stillness,

Almost as if you are floating in the top of a calm body of water,

But within the evening night sky,

The nothingness and the expansive space,

The quietness is more quiet and more deep than you have ever experienced before.

As you continue to breathe,

You become even more one with the stillness,

Almost as if you become transparent and as light as the air around you.

With each breath,

You are becoming the night air,

Just for now,

During your evening sleep,

For this lightness gives you a deep sense of relaxation and an opportunity to release and feel rested in the nothingness.

Expanding deeper and wider,

Completely letting go,

Feeling blessed by this evening stillness and the calm vibration that is consistent and sound,

Almost the breath or the heartbeat of the universe as it guides you and you align with its rhythm,

Warming you,

Making you feel so perfect.

You are one with the evening stillness,

So peaceful and deep.

Continuing to inhale and exhale,

Each breath bringing you into a deeper and calmer state.

You are experiencing a beautiful,

Peaceful sleep and oneness with this expansive evening night sky,

In profound stillness,

So relaxed as you let go and are guided even further into your slumber state,

Everything floating away,

Releasing and allowing you are safe and free.
