This meditation process is an opportunity to let go of your thoughts,
Feelings,
And emotions of the day so you can sleep deeply with a calm mind,
Body,
And spirit.
So begin by getting comfortable in your sleeping space,
Wherever that may be,
Whether it's in a bed or somewhere else,
And be mindful of your clothing.
If you're wearing anything or not,
Just make sure you're comfortable,
As well as the temperature in your space so it isn't distracting,
Whether it's too cold or warm.
And begin by settling into your bed or wherever you're laying,
And close your eyes.
Take breaths in with an inhale and exhale,
And inhale and exhale,
And one more in and out.
And as you continue to breathe,
You feel more relaxed with each breath.
And if you feel there are thoughts from the day that are weighing you down,
Maybe distracting you,
Related to work or people,
Feelings and emotions,
It's okay to give energy to whatever has been going on in our lives.
But when it's time to go to sleep,
It's important for us to let it all go,
To release the day so we can slip deep into the relaxing state we need in order to recharge and start fresh.
So for now,
If you feel consumed by thoughts,
Feelings and emotions,
Just allow.
You can bring them to your attention as you continue to breathe.
Share all these thoughts together,
All these feelings and emotions,
And imagine you are placing them in a bubble,
Floating right above you,
Gathering everything weighing you down,
And placing it in a bubble.
With everything in that beautiful bubble,
Release it into the air.
Feel it gently floating away as you feel more relaxed and detached,
Each breath guiding you into deeper rest that you deserve and is ready for you.
Used to float away,
Further and further,
Feeling detached from it all and free,
So relaxed,
Your head feels clear,
And if any thoughts pop up,
That's okay,
For you're on a journey into your sleep and these thoughts continue to float away in their own bubbles.
For this energy,
This calm serenity begins to expand from your mind,
Throughout your body,
Making you feel more and more relaxed and free,
All feelings and sensations also gently float away,
For this is your time to sleep and to feel free as you rest and re-center in the beautiful unconscious state,
Inviting you to come in and to go deep,
Filled with dreams,
Filled with peace.
You have cleared your day,
Released and calm,
This relaxation fills all of you from head to toe,
Feeling so safe,
With room to breathe.
Feel this comfort,
Feeling so warm,
So calm,
Almost as if you're floating on a cloud,
So much lighter as you let go of the day and surrender to the peaceful moment in the now.
Peace within you and peace around you,
You are one with this peace and tranquillness,
So clear.
Feeling to breathe as you go deeper and deeper.
So much peace,
So much serenity,
Sleeping and resting,
You have let go of everything you carried,
You are free,
Free of the day and free to sleep.
Therefore,
You are one with this peace.
