This meditation is a process to help you defuse and eliminate feelings of restlessness,
Nervousness,
The jitters,
And any other feelings of uneasiness so you feel grounded,
Patient,
Calm,
And relaxed.
Let's begin by getting comfortable.
Whether you are laying down or reclined in a chair or preferably seated upright in a chair so you can be fully present throughout this meditation.
And close your eyes.
Let's begin with a nice deep breath in and out and in and out and in and out.
And as you continue to breathe,
Following this rhythm,
Settle into your space and feel the ground below you.
Tuning into the groundedness feeling of your feet on the ground,
Feeling supported and centered.
And let's scan throughout the body just to bring your attention and focus into your physical experience.
Feeling the tips of your toes up into your legs,
Into your seat,
Up into your stomach and back.
And as you're scanning,
If you notice any feelings that come up and distract you,
Just allow it.
As you continue to breathe and release them,
Scanning up into the chest and upper back,
Your shoulders down through your arms,
All the way through your hands and out your fingers,
Your neck and your throat.
Scanning up into your face and into that big wide open space behind your eyes.
Noticing if any thoughts keep popping up and then gently releasing them.
Continuing to breathe,
Scanning up to the top of your head,
Aligning and centering.
And as you settle into this centeredness,
You begin to feel so relaxed and lighter,
Yet grounded,
Becoming more calm and breathe.
And in this space,
Settling in,
I invite you to imagine a point of light about six inches above the crown of your head,
Like a beautiful glowing star.
For this point of light connects you to your eternal deepest innermost self.
Breathing and noticing this point as it begins to shine a light down below.
It extends in each direction to your sides as it shines down upon you,
Feeling its beam and a peacefulness.
For there is a subtlety to its energy,
Almost as if a gentle and delicate beautiful mist.
All of light ascending down upon you,
Within you,
Around you,
And beyond you.
And as it descends throughout your being,
Feel any sensations or discomforts drift away and dissipate as this light continues to shine down so gentle,
As it delicately shifts your energy,
Calming you and bringing peace to all yourselves,
All your muscles,
All of you.
Relaxing,
Shifting as you release,
Feeling more calm,
And centered as the light continues down through your legs and your feet,
As you bask in this gentle yet beautiful and so healing energy,
Releasing all of those feelings that no longer serve you,
And creating inner peace that fills you up,
Satisfying you,
And enlightening you with each breath.
And as you continue to breathe,
Basking in the stillness and the healing radiance of this energy that diffuses what no longer serves you,
Let's sit with this in the silence to allow and release with each breath.
And as you continue to breathe,
With each inhale and exhale,
Feeling so free and released of all of those feelings that weighed you down,
Feeling so calm,
Surrendering to the inner stillness and peace,
For you have created a new foundation and a frequency that's so pure and so strong that will hold you steady and guide you,
Keeping you still and peaceful no matter what comes your way,
All situations,
People,
And experiences,
For your foundation of calm centeredness is established and in place,
Taking care of you and aligning you with your highest well-being.
And for now,
We can gently let this go with an awareness that you can always come back to the sacred space and this healing energy whenever you need.
And begin to feel and see this beautiful energy from the light above begin to ascend very gently up through your body and all around you,
Reverting back to the point of light just above your head that's always there for you,
Like your North Star,
Available to feel and be guided by its healing.
As you continue to breathe with each inhale and exhale and exhale.
Begin to calmly wiggle your toes,
Loosen your legs,
Shift in your seat,
Feel your stomach and lower back,
Expanding your chest with each breath,
Easing your upper back as you loosen your shoulders,
Moving your arms,
Your hands,
And your fingers,
Clearing your throat,
Relaxing your jaw and connecting in with the big wide open space behind your eyes that's so peaceful and calm.
Let's take one more nice big deep breath in and let it out.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and come back to your space.
