This guided meditation was created for all youth, especially teenagers, who feel anxiety about school. It will help them to feel confident, to feel worthy, and to release anxiety related to socializing, tests, and feeling like they belong. It includes a portion that connects them to their own Divine guidance so that they may know even when they feel alone, they are not alone. They will always have this beautiful white light with them and in them. This meditation is beginner-friendly. If this is your first time meditating, just sit down, close your eyes, and follow the guidance. I will guide you every step of the way.

Today we're going to do a short easy guided meditation that will help you to feel at peace,

Comfortable,

And confident about going to school.

We're going to begin by taking a deep breath together.

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.

I want you to continue to breathe slow and relaxed through your nose.

As you do so,

Bring all of your attention onto your breath as it flows into your body.

Feel the breath filling up your lungs.

Feel yourself taking a full breath in and notice how it feels as your lungs expand with the breath in.

Feel the stream of air as it comes into you and flows through you.

Notice how your stomach and your chest gently rise and fall with each breath.

Notice the soft sounds your breath makes and hold your awareness on this.

Hold your awareness on your breath as it flows in and your body gently moves.

Hold your awareness on the soft sounds your breath makes and as you continue to focus and hold all of your attention on your breath,

Feel yourself coming into yourself.

Coming deeper into you with each breath in.

With each breath in,

Your awareness travels deeper within you as your awareness travels into you and you feel these life-giving breaths flowing through you.

Feel into the knowing that you have a self.

You breathe into yourself and you are here now and you are with yourself and you are feeling into the knowing that you are a good person.

You are a wonderful person.

You are worthy of love and support and as your awareness settles into your own wonderful incredible self,

You come into the knowing that you are going to have friends at school who see the incredible person that you are.

You're going to meet and connect with people who really appreciate you and feel into the safety and the comfort of knowing that the people that you are going to meet and connect with,

They are waiting for you.

They are as excited to meet you as you are to meet them and continue to breathe into this knowing that you are a good and wonderful and valuable person and that there are people at school who will see this wonderful valuable person that you are and as you breathe in,

Breathe into the knowing that you are smart.

You are capable and you are going to do a good job.

Breathe into your belief and your faith in your own self and how capable and how incredible you are.

Whatever happens in the classroom and on your tests,

It does not matter.

It's not telling you who you are because you already know you are smart.

You are capable.

You are worthy and as you breathe in,

I want you to begin to breathe in a beautiful white light.

This is the brightest light you have ever seen and you breathe it in and it fills your mind and your mind becomes one with this white light and it's as if this light is radiating out around you now and as you breathe with it,

This light fills you with the knowing that you are safe,

You are loved,

And you are here for a reason.

Your existence is valuable and you are guided by a higher power,

A higher energy,

By the divine love of the universe and all that is.

This light that you are breathing into,

It will guide you in every moment as you go to school and as you go through your day.

You will be guided and you will have this divine loving light with you in all moments,

Releasing anxiety,

Soothing your mind and your body anytime that you need it.

You can breathe this light in and return to the knowing that this loving divine light,

It's here for you at all times and as we finish this meditation,

I just want you to repeat this mantra to yourself.

I am a good person.

I am worthy of good things.

Good things are always happening to me and we're gonna take one more deep breath together in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Breathe in through your nose,

Hold,

And breathe out.
