Thank you for joining me this evening.
And I invite you right now to make yourself comfortable.
Whether that is in a sitting position or lying down,
Please just go ahead and bring your attention inward and bring your awareness to your breath.
And as you're breathing,
I ask that you breathe in through the nostrils and out through the nostrils at any pace that is comfortable for you.
And while your awareness is on your breath,
If anything pops into your mind,
I invite you to just give it a nod so that you're saying,
Thank you,
I see you.
And then go ahead and either set it to the side or like a cloud,
Allow it to continue drifting by.
And you will be able to go back and attend to anything of importance at a later time.
But right now,
Give yourself thanks for bringing your time here to come back to your center,
To come home,
And to step in to your very being.
And as you follow your breath,
I invite you to become aware of how big the inhalation is as well as the exhalation.
Now today,
I would like us to take a journey and I invite you to right where you are now to imagine that you are on the edge of a garden.
And just look all around,
Just from your vantage point,
Standing right where you are.
And as you look around,
I invite you to become aware of how you are feeling at this moment.
Just bring the awareness.
Don't try to change anything.
And as you're bringing your breath in and out,
Notice if there is any fragrance that you sense while standing at the edge of this garden.
And as we remain in this still point for one moment,
I invite you to once again,
Just notice.
And if it helps to turn your head or to move,
Have a little movement in your shoulders or arms or even your legs,
Just allow that to happen.
Allow your body to be in flow as we bring our awareness right to this moment,
To this garden.
Now in your mind's eye or figuratively,
I invite you to step into the garden and go ahead and start walking forward on the path that you find.
Bring your awareness to what the path feels like under your foot.
Each step,
How does it feel?
And as you step further into the garden,
Just take notice,
What are you seeing around you?
Perhaps there might be colors.
Perhaps there might be things of different height.
And as you continue walking on that path,
Do you hear any sound?
At this time,
I'm going to have you look forward just a bit more and off to the side,
There is a bench.
And I'm going to invite you to go ahead and figuratively sit down on that bench.
And as you do,
I'm going to invite you to bring your awareness to how that bench is supporting you.
What is holding you up?
And while you're there,
I'm going to invite you to really bring your breath to the forefront,
Give it your attention,
And the breath in through the nostrils and out through the nostrils.
And just become acclimated to this point in your garden on this bench.
And I'm now going to bring your attention back in to your feelings.
How are you feeling at this moment?
Where is your attention being drawn?
In this garden,
There's something very special for you.
And it's actually going to show itself in a rather quiet way.
So I invite you while you're sitting here in this peaceful garden to bring your attention right to yourself.
And I invite you to ask,
What is here for me that I may uncover?
And if it's helpful,
I invite you to put your hands on that heart chakra and allow the inhalation to be a little bit deeper and the exhalation to be a little bit longer.
And bring your awareness into that heart chakra and ask,
What is in this garden for me to discover?
And anytime you'd like,
You can take your hands down off your heart chakra.
And if you heard something,
Just you can allow a slight smile to come across your face and just a slight nod,
Literal or figurative to say,
Thank you,
I'm aware.
And if you didn't hear anything,
That is all right as well.
For this is a journey that is individual to each one of us walking through our own garden,
Bringing ourselves home,
Bringing ourselves to our center,
Allowing and having the understanding that we put the busyness of the day aside and take this time to allow some beautiful things within us and within our garden to open up and share.
So at this time,
I go ahead and stand up off of the bench.
And we're going to go ahead and continue to walk through the garden for the paths.
And the paths seem to be interconnected and seem to wind themselves around through very beautiful parts.
So I invite you to go ahead and continue your walk through this garden.
And you can go ahead and ask again,
Is there anything that I should know and become aware of while being in this garden?
And right up ahead,
There is a stand and it's a stand that would be there to hold a statue.
And the top of it is flat.
And it's a comfortable height so you can actually pause and gently wipe your hand your palm across the surface.
What does it feel like?
What is the temperature of it?
Is it cool or hot?
And on this stand,
I invite you to bring forward anything that has been worrying you or has surprised or startled you or caused unease.
And I invite you to bring that out and place it on top of that stand.
There's plenty of space.
Anything that you may not have even realized you're carrying but have been carrying with you that causes some worry or unease.
Just go ahead and place it right out on that stand.
And what we're doing is we're bringing in awareness.
And we're also bringing,
Putting it out and giving permission for the air.
Just like the breath to move around it,
To see it,
To acknowledge it.
And to bring the attention that yeah,
You are real and I have been carrying you.
And this is causing some unease.
And as I come back to my center,
And I come back to my calm,
I want to be able to know how to release you or to handle you or to work with you.
So I invite you to take a step back figuratively from this stand.
And just take a look at what you've placed on top of it.
And if you'd like,
Go ahead and walk to the side and take a look at it from there.
Does it look different?
How does that make you feel?
And if you are choosing to move around it,
I invite you to go a little bit further around it and take another look again from a different lens,
A different angle.
How does it feel from there?
And if you are choosing to go around,
I invite you to go a little bit further.
So you're now looking from another side yet again.
And while you're here,
Looking at what you have set on the stand that has brought worry or unease,
Just look at it.
Just serve,
Don't wait it good,
Bad.
Open up and acknowledge how you feel about it.
And I invite you now to walk back to that beginning point where you were when you took that step back and take a look at what you've placed there.
Does it hold the same power?
Notice where you are now and how you feel.
But understand that when we started this journey at the edge of the garden,
You were in a different place.
And now as we stand in front of this stand,
I invite you to ask what you have put there.
What do you need to share with me?
If you hear nothing,
That's okay.
Because what we're doing is bringing an awareness to what brings concern or unease or worry.
And if you did hear something,
Go ahead and follow that thread and invite some more information to unfold for you.
And as we stand here,
I invite you to bring your attention back to the breathing in and the exhale.
And I invite you,
As you are in your center,
To bring the awareness that you have all that you need already inside of you.
And so as we look back onto that stand for what you have placed there,
Understand that you have everything you need inside of you.
So before we move,
The one last question is,
What I have placed there,
Do I need to continue to hold it or may I release it at this time?
Either one is okay.
And now I invite you to go ahead and continue with that choice.
May I release this or shall I take it back?
And as we are readying ourselves to turn around and walk back down that path,
If you choose to bring it back in with you,
Feel your strength and your internal reinforcements and that case in which to carry this so that it does not drain you,
But that you can give it strength so that it gets released eventually.
So at this point,
I invite you to turn around and head back on that path in the garden.
And we're going to continue walking.
And just notice as we're walking back how the path feels and there's the bench that you sat on.
Just give it a nod for holding you.
And as we continue to forward,
Take a large inhale.
Notice if you smell anything,
Any fragrances.
And once again,
I invite you to allow a smile to come across your face for this respite from the busy day,
For this moving ourselves within from one point to a new point,
For realizing that we can shift internally,
Even if externally there is a lot that we have to carry.
And in the next few moments before we reach the edge of the garden,
I invite you to,
To release in gratitude for this brief journey,
For this beautiful space and place for you.
So we've reached the edge of the garden.
And when you are ready,
Feel free to go ahead and just open your eyes.
So with that,
I'll turn it over to Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
