Hello,
Beautiful soul.
As we begin this meditation,
Please find your most comfortable position.
This can be sitting or laying down.
Hands can rest lightly on your knees or by your sides.
And we'll take a few conscious breaths before we begin.
Inhaling deeply.
Exhaling the breath at the top of the inhale for just a moment.
And exhaling slowly.
And again,
Inhaling,
Lungs filling with air,
Possibly holding it for a moment at the top of your inhale.
And exhaling slowly,
Slowly.
Just returning to normal breath.
I invite you now to begin to picture a white light beaming down from above your head.
Just bathing you in its loving,
Bright light.
Whether you call it a light from source or a light from your higher self,
Just connecting with this beautiful light and allowing it to radiate down through the top of the head and down through the body.
This light is pure love.
This light is energizing,
Expansive,
And loving.
Now begin to bring your awareness to your hands.
Just noticing where the hands meet the surface beneath you.
Noticing each finger and the palm of the hands.
And see if you can witness a subtle feeling of aliveness in the hands.
It may feel like a tingling or an electric sensation in the palm of the hands.
Now bringing your attention to your wrist,
The forearms,
The biceps.
Moving your attention to your shoulders,
Relaxing the shoulders down.
Bringing your awareness up the front of the neck to the jaw.
Noticing if you're clenching the jaw.
If so,
Just releasing the jaw.
The teeth can part,
But the mouth stays closed.
Bringing your attention to the face.
Noticing the nose,
The bridge of the nose.
Possibly just witnessing the cool sensation as you inhale and the warm sensation as you exhale.
Becoming aware of the forehead and the top of the head.
Seeing if you can witness any energy at the top of the head.
Moving down the back of the neck to the upper back.
And noticing the middle back and the lower back.
Bringing your awareness to your hips and where the hips and the legs make contact with the floor.
Just noticing where your body makes contact with the ground beneath you.
Bringing your attention to the legs,
The thighs,
The knees,
The calves,
And down to the feet.
Just noticing your toes,
The top of the feet,
The bottom of the feet,
Where the feet make contact with the ground beneath you.
Seeing if you can notice that same feeling of aliveness in the feet.
I now invite you to picture roots beginning to form from the hips,
Legs,
And feet.
Getting down into the ground beneath you.
These roots grow bigger with each inhale and sink down deeper into the earth with each exhale.
Beautiful strong roots reaching down into the core of the earth,
Protecting you,
Grounding you,
Stabilizing you,
And healing you.
Now see if you can notice that same feeling of aliveness throughout the entire body.
Maybe it's an energy that's present,
A tingling or an electric energy from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
Just noticing.
Now moving your attention to your heart center.
Descending the body love,
Breathing into the heart center,
And breathing out.
This time as you breathe,
I invite you to imagine a light growing within the heart center.
This light can be any color you want.
Whatever color that first came to mind is correct.
As you inhale,
That light grows larger.
Just breathing normally,
But sensing that light growing larger and larger around you with each breath.
The light becomes so big that it radiates out through the whole body,
Holding you,
Grounding you,
Healing you.
This light is pure love.
Possibly even inhaling this beautiful light around you.
You may even begin to picture a gray mist with each exhale.
Simply exhaling anything that no longer serves you.
Ridding the body of any tension,
Of any ailments.
Just releasing and relaxing down.
Feeling expansive with each inhale and witnessing that light grow.
And feeling more and more relaxed and at ease with each exhale.
Just sinking down into the earth beneath you.
Simply placing your hand on your heart center.
Just thanking your body for all it has given you.
For all you have lived through and all the beautiful moments you have yet to experience.
May you be happy.
May you be well.
May you be joyous and at ease.
Namaste.
