Welcome to this body awareness meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
And now close your eyes.
Just naturally when you close your eyes,
You become aware of what's going on within you.
Simply notice what's going on without trying to change anything.
Not resisting thoughts,
Not resisting noise,
Not resisting anything.
And now bring your awareness to your body.
Notice the weight of your body as it's held in place by gravity.
Let yourself sink into that.
Notice the density of your body.
Perhaps some particular part of your body draws your attention.
You may notice various sensations in your body,
Pleasant and unpleasant.
Simply allowing your awareness to be with your body,
To be with the sensations in your body.
At the same time that you're aware of your body,
You'll be experiencing other things as well.
You may be hearing sounds,
Thoughts will be coming and going,
Maybe feeling some emotions.
All sorts of things may be going on,
Just easily favor awareness of your body.
Easy,
Open awareness of your body,
Not resisting anything that's happening.
You can allow your attention to be drawn wherever it naturally goes.
You can also scan your body with your attention,
Bringing your awareness to different parts of your body.
Your feet,
Legs,
Arms,
Head.
Simply being aware of your body,
Experiencing whatever draws your attention,
Or scanning it.
You can even put your whole body in your awareness,
Whatever is easiest for you.
Concentrating,
Not straining to keep your attention on your body,
Just very easy awareness of the body.
You may be experiencing thoughts,
Emotions,
Hearing sounds.
All sorts of things may be going on at the same time as you are aware of your body.
That's fine,
Just easily favoring the experience of your body.
Not resisting anything,
Not trying to make anything happen.
Whenever you become aware that the mind has become absorbed in thought,
Just easily come back to awareness of the body.
Easy,
Open awareness,
Not minding anything,
Not pushing anything out.
Simply aware of what you feel in your body.
Your brain always becomes predetermined.
Now it's time to end the meditation.
Take your time,
Stretch,
Move around a bit,
Just gradually become more active,
And only when you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
