Meet your Teacher

PAZ is a devotional artist sharing sacred music and mantras as part of her spiritual path. Her voice is almost hypnotic, radiating love, healing, and peace. A spiritual seeker, she felt inclined to pray from a very early age. Her grandmother, a gifted soprano, introduced her to sacred chanting in church. Raised by a Christian mother and a Jewish father, she learned to respect and appreciate all spiritual traditions, with the freedom to choose her own path. She resonated deeply with the Eastern philosophies and started practicing Tibetan Buddhism in her early twenties. She immersed herself fully in retreats, received teachings, empowerments and ritual transmissions of mantras from renowned Masters, including H.H Dalai Lama. Music awakened again in recent years when she found her Spiritual Master Mooji, of Advaita Vedanta tradition. Inspired by the transformational power of the devotional chants and bhajans shared after these Satsangs she found her voice and true Self. Her debut album 'Inner Light', emerged naturally from Self Inquiry and was released on April 2017, including chants from different spiritual traditions and reflecting the depth of her eighteen years formal practice with mantras and meditation. PAZ shares her music and bhakti on Insight Timer, through concerts, kirtan circles, mantra workshops, and retreats.

Lesson 1

RA MA DA SA: Day 1 Of Journey

In this session you will receive a detailed explanation and practical instructions oh how to do this Sadhana (spiritual practice). Learn the meaning of the mantra, and how to chant ‘Ra Ma Da Sa’, along with the correct body posture, mudra, breathing technique, as well as how to set an intention or ‘sankalpa’ for this journey. Together, we will activate the mantra and finish with a healing contemplation.

Lesson 2

RA MA DA SA: Day 2 Of Journey

In this session you will learn the importance of committing to keeping a regular daily practice for 30 days and how you can fully experience the benefits of creating a relationship with the mantra. Yogi Bhajan says: “Your power is not in the body or the muscles. Your power is your mind—the intuitive mind, the neutral mind—and you cannot have a neutral mind unless you do sadhana and clean your subconscious and unconscious. It's a house cleaning.” Repetition is key, so the more you repeat one mantra, the more it is ‘energized’ or ‘magnetized’.

In this session you will dive deeper in the waters of the sacred healing vibrations of the mantra. Together we can reflect on the power of creating peace and harmony inside and around us. Deep cleansing brings healing. We can learn to be aware of how our speech, actions and thoughts can create and increase positive healing vibrations.

In this session you will continue to experience the benefits of keeping this daily healing ritual. The mantra is working on every level and aspect of your life. We will be reflecting on the power of listening. Listening to ourselves and to our emotions gives us the clues or messages that our body is sending to us. Are we listening? Respecting and taking care of your needs is part of your healing process.

In this session, as we approach the end of this challenge, we’ll be focusing more and more on personal contemplation, insights and silence. Silence is a very important part of mantra meditation. We really chant to get into a state of complete silence, a non conceptual state. Chanting Ra Ma Da Sa can actually ‘bypass’ the mind and bring balance back to your system. You'll by now be very intimate with the mantra and able to access this healing energy at any moment.

In this session you will be reminded again about the power of gratitude as part of the healing process. In this session gratitude is key. Recap and see the blessings received since Day 1. Acknowledge your commitment with truth and to your own healing process. Reflect on some changes in your relationships and the way you perceive yourself now. You are mastering the mantra. Rest in silence. Become one with it.

As you reach the end of this challenge the mind can become even louder and restless. This is just an illusion. Thoughts can wander but each time your attention drifts you become aware and bring yourself back to Ra Ma Da Sa. The practice of chanting a mantra is really a meditation. Just surrender to the universe healing force and the breath of life. Be present here and now.

In this session you will learn more about the power of gratitude. So we are going a step further here by intentionally expressing gratitude for those challenging aspects of our lives, the so called “difficult people”, and even for the Dis-ease, as they are all in service to our growth and evolution. If it doesn’t come naturally, simply let yourself go by chanting Ra Ma Da Sa for 11:11 minutes followed by contemplation in silence. Trust this sacred formula.
