Meet your Teacher

Mattis supports you to come to a greater sense of wholeness and an embodied connection to your authentic self. Not by fixing you but from seeing you as complete and whole as they are. This safe and present space supports you to relax into your body and dare to allow yourself to feel and heal the deeper traumas and beliefs that unconsciously often run a fear driven life. As he personally has experienced before. Having been in a long relationship, partly stuck in unhealthy co-dependency and pleasing survival strategies he found himself lacking a solid inner core of safety and with a need to have the surroundings prove his worth. He now wants to share his wisdom from years of working with this and the never ending exploration of deeper love and how to create healthy and intimate relationships to self and others. His meditations and courses are all in this direction, to support you to find your own safety and confidence within, not by pushing things away but from turning towards yourself with open arms, and expanding the capacity and presence to be with all that life brings. Its finally safe to slow down... and rest in and experience life from the miracle of your being. He says that you will find that nothing feels more natural, more powerful and joyful and effortless than owning the fullness of you and to allow the intuitive wisdom to shine trough. A constant fascination of the unknown with no need to control it. Mattis is a Certified Master Coach in relationship and trauma coach from Elementum Coaching Institute. He supports men from pleasing and insecurity back to empowerment and inner safety. He also supports women who have been hurt by the masculine to regain their inner safety, their radiance and trust in men and intimacy.

Lesson 1

Getting To Know Your Nervous System and How To Regulate Back To Safety

In this first session you will learn the basics understanding of the nervous system and the different states we move between in our daily life. This session will also instruct you in simple ways of how to regulate yourself back to safety in times of stress, anxiety and anger (activation) or when you feel depressed and in chock (immobilization). A foundation that gets you going in your own exploration of what works for you. And go gentle on yourself. It is expected that resistance show up when we try new things and challenge the old ways of being. For you to get the most out of this course, be as open and curious as possible for the experiences during this course and know that I am not saying what is right or wrong for you, I invite you to go and see for yourself and take with you what serves your highest good.

Lesson 2

How Early Experience May Shape Our Nervous System

Our nervous system develops early in our life. If we interpret a situation as dangerous as a child our nervous system remembers. But the nervous system can not see that what we might have experienced as a life threatening situation as a child might not at all be dangerous for you in your life right now. But due to early trauma your nervous system might interpret a situation of touch, closeness, emotional expression etc as dangerous and you find yourself having a hard time relating closely to others as an adult. But the great news is that we can rewire out nervous system back to understanding that the situation in this now-moment is safe with these tools. I hope this knowledge brings compassion for yourself and others in affected states. Love is always the answer when we feel safe, but it is easy to fall down into drama and that is why this work has been so important for me to see the difference and learn a way back to clarity.

Lesson 3

Meditation To Support Yourself Back To Safety

This is a meditation that slowly guides you through some regulation methods. This audio can support you when you are triggered or just want to practice the skill of regulation. Use this meditation every day for a week to give yourself as many experiences of regulation as lovingly possible. This will create new neurological pathways in your brain and therefor support your to easier find your way to safety when you are doing this by your self later.

Lesson 4

Exercise - Mapping Of Your Nervous System States

Now things get really interesting. You will create a map of your experience in the different states. This lesson is also a deepening of the potential of embodying this work.

We have reached the end, and a new beginning. By being regulated you give the most beautiful gift to the world around you. You support them to come into their full potential. As I listened I realized his content resonated with concepts I’ve entertained. The lessons were not overly long, and that kept the points more concise I think. I’ve worked in dangerous environments with violent mentally ill criminals, so I developed my own set of coping mechanisms. Always, though I love words, what the living experience is, before we open our mouths and corrupt it all..has been the most importabt thing…words are code and if we choose to use code we live in that code/decode world intense moments, but regulating our own emotions is, perhaps, its own language…because it has an effect on Others.
