This is balloon breathing for kids.
So we lay down on our backs,
Finding a comfortable position to lay down on our backs.
We close our eyes,
And we put both of our hands onto our tummy.
And then we imagine that inside of our tummy is a balloon.
And when you breathe in,
That balloon fills with air,
Which makes your tummy pop up and get big.
And then when you breathe out,
All the air of the balloon is released,
And your tummy goes back to flat.
And then you breathe in,
And the balloon fills with air,
And your tummy pops out.
But then you breathe out,
And all the air in the balloon gets released,
And your tummy goes flat.
And you can also feel the tummy getting big and getting flat,
Because both of your hands are on your tummy.
So we breathe in,
And the balloon gets big,
And our tummy pops out.
And then we breathe out,
And all the air in the balloon gets released,
And our tummy goes flat.
Then we breathe in,
And the balloon gets big.
And then we breathe out,
And the balloon gets small.
And then we breathe in,
And our tummy pops out.
And then we breathe out,
And our tummy gets flat again.
And this is balloon breathing.
And you've just completed your very first balloon breathing,
And you did a fabulous job.
Thank you so much.
