Welcome to Illuminate Me Experience.
This meditation combines ancient and science-backed mindfulness techniques,
Such as Awareness of the Breath,
Body Scan Meditation and Visualization,
To bring you into a deeper state of peace,
Calm and infinite possibilities.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
First,
Let's just get here.
Wherever you are,
Set everything else aside,
Allow yourself to disconnect no matter what is going on around you.
Let it go,
Put it on pause and settle into your body,
Creating a strong and safe foundation for this practice.
This time,
It's yours only.
Sitting on a cushion or a mat on the floor with your legs crossed.
You may also sit in a chair if that's more comfortable.
If so,
Scoot all the way back in the chair,
Plant your feet flat on the ground,
Sense their contact with the floor,
Feel the stability and the support of the surface beneath you.
Let the gravity gently pull you in,
Coming into stillness,
Sitting with dignity.
Keep your spine long and straight but not rigid.
Imagine a string pulling you up to the sky from the crown of your head.
Place your hands in your lap and simply rest them there,
Palms facing up or down.
On the exhale,
Let your shoulders relax naturally,
Not hunch forward or pull back.
Gently tuck your chin in so it is slightly tilted downwards,
The crown of your head is pointing straight into the sky.
Relax your eyes and soften your gaze,
Feel free to close them at any point if that feels right for you.
From this state of grounded stillness,
Bring to mind a meaningful intention.
This could be a feeling or personal aspiration,
For example,
I am safe and supported.
I am relaxed,
Calm and blissful.
I invite unlimited abundance into my life.
Repeat your intention three times silently to yourself.
Each illuminating breath will fill you with the light that will lead you toward this intention.
Be open to receiving.
Now,
You will move your awareness to different parts of your body and focus on drawing light into each area,
From the tips of your toes to the crown of the head.
With every inhale,
You will gradually fill each area of the body with light until your whole body is fully illuminated,
Radiant,
Flowing.
Or you may not feel anything at all,
And that's perfectly ok too.
You will still receive the benefits of this meditative journey.
Simply continue to move your attention through the body,
Part by part,
Simply witnessing any sensations that may come up for you.
No judgment,
No control,
Pure sensing,
Breathing,
Sitting in the stream of light.
Let's get started with a few rounds of free flowing breath.
Simply observe your natural breath,
Let it come to you and release any effort.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Bringing yourself fully here.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Allowing yourself to pause and just be.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Until your lungs are empty.
Go deeper and deeper into your breath.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your feet.
Inhale deeply,
Envisioning a warm light flowing into and gently wrapping them.
Feels like a warm hug.
With each exhale,
The light clears away any tension or discomfort.
Inhale and exhale.
Rest your attention on the soles of your feet.
Feel any sensations in your feet.
See if you can shift from the more intellectual level,
Like,
Oh,
There is my foot,
To the world of direct sensation.
Sensing pressure,
Warmth,
Touch of the fabric,
Contact with the floor,
Pulsing,
Whatever may manifest for you.
You don't have to name them,
But feel them.
Sense your toes,
One by one.
Now the tops of your feet.
The ankles.
With each breath,
Relax even deeper.
The heels.
Let the light in.
Feel both feet together.
Both feet together.
Energized and fully radiant.
Now,
Allow the light to ascend up from your feet to your lower legs.
Breathe in,
Filling your lower calves with luminous energy.
Now your upper calves.
Continue to breathe naturally.
Now your shins.
Sense your entire lower legs and your feet together.
Lower legs and feet together.
Each inhale magnifying the flow.
Each exhale removing impurities.
Cleansing.
Purifying.
Now move your awareness to your upper legs.
Inhale inviting the light into your knees.
Your hamstrings.
The quads.
The whole left leg.
Moving your attention up and down the leg.
The whole right leg up and down.
Both legs and feet together.
Both legs and feet together.
Basking in the warm liquid light.
Now bring your attention to your hips.
Sense the fronts of your hip joints.
Left thigh filling in with light.
Right thigh filling in with light.
Sense your buttocks pressing into the surface beneath you.
Feel the light pouring into you with the in-breath.
Through the skin.
All the way to the sitting bones.
The pelvic floor.
Notice the solidity of your foundation.
The feeling of being held.
The feeling of resting in this energizing peace.
Sense your hips,
Legs and feet together.
The flowing light is now fully illuminating your feet,
Legs and hips.
Now bring your attention to your stomach.
Notice that your breath causes your stomach to expand and contract.
Let it relax.
Inhale and exhale.
Rising and falling.
Going deeper and deeper into that light.
Allowing all sensations and thoughts to rise and pass with the pure light of your awareness.
The light is pouring into your stomach.
Dissolving darkness.
Removing tight knots and any pain as you exhale.
Lower abdomen filling with light.
Upper abdomen becoming more radiant.
Light dancing around your waist.
Now breathe in deeply.
Feel your entire lower body and abdomen with living light.
Grasping at nothing.
Resisting nothing.
Sitting in this dream of light.
Now move your awareness up to your chest.
Right side of the chest.
Left side of the chest.
Left side of the chest.
Breathe in warming and brightening your heart with light.
Feeling your chest expand on the inhale.
Contract on the exhale.
Rising and falling with every breath.
Opening up the heart to light even more with each inhale.
Inhale.
It begins to glow with loving awareness.
The heart is glowing with loving awareness.
Spreading the light through your entire being.
The whole chest is illuminated with nurturing love and peace.
Now move your awareness to the back.
Let the light that you've been gathering flow up into your back.
Washing away tension and pain.
Physical or emotional.
Your lower back.
Upper back.
Shoulder blades.
Expand your attention to the whole back.
Visualize the liquid light moving up and down through your spine.
Filling your entire being with energy and peace.
How does that feel?
Observe any sensations that may rise for you.
Warmth.
Cold.
Tingling.
Tension.
Vibrations.
All are welcome.
The entire back is filled with pure light.
The light is flowing freely up and down the spine.
Now bring the light towards your shoulders and arms.
Inhale,
Lighting up these areas.
Exhale,
Easing any weight.
Left hand.
Left arm.
Left shoulder.
Inhale and move the light through these parts.
If they remain dark,
That's ok.
Come back on the next breath and notice any changes.
Now your right hand.
Right arm.
Right shoulder.
Draw in light.
Release any darkness you may feel in the arms.
It may be anger.
Sadness.
Or worry.
Let it be and watch it gradually dissolve in the loving light.
Sense the light on your fingertips.
Feeling how it is gently touching the palms of your hands.
As if the light itself is saying hello,
I'm glad you're here.
The whole left arm is illuminated.
The whole right arm is illuminated.
Both arms together.
Both arms together.
Now bring your awareness to your neck.
Inhale,
Drawing the light up to brighten and soothe your neck.
Exhale,
Relieving tightness.
Clearing the way for more light to come in.
The light moves freely through the neck.
Finally,
Sense the crown of your head.
As you breathe in,
Allow the light to pull over your head like a warm tropical waterfall.
Envision the light flowing down from your forehead,
Gently illuminating your eyes,
Cheeks,
Lips and the entire face with its radiant glow.
Resting in the flow of this liquid light.
Inhale peace.
Exhale and let go of any blockages.
Continue with deep natural breaths.
Feeling the light spreading from your face,
Down through your neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
All the way down to the tips of the toes until your entire body is cocooned in the radiant healing aura.
Take a full breath and see if you can feel your whole body all at once sitting here in the radiant healing aura between the sky and earth.
Just breathing.
Being present.
From the tips of your toes,
Up through your legs,
Your torso,
Your arms,
Into your face and the crown of your head.
Feel your whole body illuminated as one wholesome being,
Rested and full of vibrant energy.
At this very moment,
Your entire body is illuminated with your awareness.
Illuminated with your awareness.
Illuminated with your awareness.
Illuminated with your awareness.
Light pouring out from your own heart.
Your heart is overflowing with this radiant loving presence.
And from this centered place,
Remember the intention you set for this practice.
Repeat it silently to yourself three times.
Let it wash over you,
Permeate through every single cell of your body,
Becoming one with it.
Then release your intention into the vast ocean of all possibilities,
Allowing the Universe to guide your path.
And so it is.
And so it is.
As we come to the end of this practice,
Come back to the feeling of your breath flowing in and out,
Taking in all the energy of this practice.
When you're ready,
You can invite gentle movement to your hands and feet.
Take your time.
Notice the space around you and return to your life,
To your story,
To your dance.
Refreshed,
Awakened with a new awareness,
A new sense of the depth and light of your own being.
Your own source of light within that you can always come home to.
Remember that.
