Welcome,
Dear one,
To this heart meditation for healing and emotional well-being.
My name is Oli and today I invite you to take a journey within to support your healing and self-compassion.
This meditation is infused with 417 Hz music,
The frequency of change and renewal,
To help you heal on a deeper level and promote transformation.
This meditation is designed with the intention to ease the pain from a heartbreak,
Grief or loss and bring you into a state of loving awareness to help release heavy emotions,
Tension or pain and connect with your inner support system.
Together we will create a safe place to heal and nurture the parts of you that are longing for connection and relief from heavy load.
Activating a beautiful transformation.
From some of my favourite poetry books for personal transformation,
The Moon Appears When the Water is Still,
Reflections of the Dhamma.
The truth is closest to those with broken hearts.
Only when your home has been burned to the ground can you see the stars.
Do not throw away your suffering.
It is the fertile soil which grows the flowers of truth.
Embrace your pain and share your pleasure.
Pain is the teaching,
Release is the gratuation.
Now I invite you to find a comfortable position that honors and supports your body.
You may be sitting on the floor or in a chair or lying down on the bed.
You may want to use a blanket to wrap around or a pillow underneath your knees if lying down,
A soft eye mask,
Plush socks or anything else to help you stay supremely cozy,
Making this practice your healing cocoon.
If you need to change your position at any time,
Please feel free to take care of yourself.
Feel the support of the surface underneath you,
The gravity of the Earth softly pulling you in,
Holding your weight gently but safely.
I invite you to close your eyes and turn your gaze inward.
Relax your eye sockets.
Feel the eyes sinking in,
Deeper and deeper,
Into a comfortable,
Healing darkness of simply being.
Being here,
Arriving in this present moment where your life is being lived,
Allowing yourself to melt into the floor,
Deeper and deeper with each breath,
Releasing any tension in the forehead,
The jaw,
The mouth,
The whole face is relaxed,
Softening the shoulders,
Your chest,
Relaxing the abdomen,
Lower back,
The hips,
The thighs,
The knees and feet like a warm waterfall gently flowing from the top of the head all the way down to the toes,
Washing away the tension and pain,
Removing heavy energies from your field.
Rest in this for a moment.
From a poem Allow by Dana Foltz.
Resist and the tide will sweep you off your feet,
Allow and grace will carry you to higher ground.
Continue to observe the sensations in the body,
Feeling relaxed,
Feeling at ease,
Feeling safe in this moment of deep healing,
Allowing yourself to settle into simply being,
Dropping deeper and deeper into the kind awareness of your body.
Rest into knowing that there is no need to do more or be more,
As you are already whole,
Already enough,
Always been.
Rest in this awareness.
Feel it.
I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath.
Allow your breath to flow naturally,
Releasing any control,
Noticing how the body breathes itself.
Inhale.
I am aware of my incoming breath.
Inhale.
I am aware of my outgoing breath.
Inhale.
Aware.
Exhale.
Aware.
Notice the air,
Ending your body with every breath,
Bringing life force,
Bringing nourishment to every one of the trillions of cells in the universe of you.
Rest your awareness on your breath,
Simply observing the breath,
Being present.
Now I invite you to visualize yourself breathing in love,
The warm and comforting feeling like the sunshine on the face,
Bringing loving energy to every cell in your beautiful body,
Letting it flood your entire being with cozy warmth and a sense of being cared for,
Feeling deep connection with your heart,
Grasping at nothing,
Resisting nothing,
Letting the flow of this loving awareness run through you freely,
Like a current.
Feel yourself sitting amidst this stream of love,
Allowing it to wash over you,
Surrendering to it,
Surrendering,
Surrendering.
I invite you to repeat these affirmations silently in your mind.
May I be free from suffering.
May I grow in peace.
May I be safe and secure.
May I live with ease.
May I live in love.
And again.
May I be free from suffering.
May I grow in peace.
May I be safe and secure.
May I live with ease.
May I live in love.
Notice how it feels.
Next we will practice the relaxed opening into the love,
A healing technique from the neuroscientist Rick Hansen.
You can always lean into this practice during difficult times.
Feel your heartbeat,
Strong and steady.
Soften and open in the heart by breathing into your chest through the nose,
Nice and relaxed natural breathing in and out.
Notice that you are ok right now,
Warm and comfortable,
Listening to your body,
Becoming aware of any sensations that arise.
Your breath is telling that you are basically alright in this moment,
Feeling safe,
Feeling at home,
Feeling connected with your spirit.
Feel the fullness that is already here,
All the thoughts and emotions rising and passing,
Observing them move through you without any resistance,
Resisting nothing,
Grasping at nothing,
Like my mindfulness teacher Bob Stahl likes to say.
If you notice stress,
Worry,
Anxiety,
Fear or pain appear in the mind or body,
Allow them to be,
Without changing or suppressing anything.
Silently name these emotions with a one word label,
Acknowledging them.
There might be sadness,
Loss,
Nase pain and watch closely,
Silently,
How they move through you like heavy clouds as you remain still,
Just observing your internal weather patterns.
All feelings are welcome to come and be seen,
Letting them simply run their course,
Constantly changing like the weather.
You may notice how they lose their charge and fade away as your mind calms down,
Meeting your true self in the quiet of this moment,
Noticing that the underlying fabric of the suffering,
The underlying current of the mind is itself fine,
Is always already fine.
When we notice our emotions without judging or controlling them,
We no longer feed them our energy and they begin to lose their grip over us and safely release out of our system,
Out of our energy.
Feel carried by the stillness,
The effortless knowing deep down that you are loved,
You are already whole.
If you look and look again,
You may notice that right now you're cradled by the world like a child carried to bed by her mother.
This cradling is love and when you trust it enough to soften and fall back into it,
There is an untangling of the knots of fear and separation.
Then comes both an undoing of the craving that causes suffering and liberating love living through you and as you out into the world.
Again and again making this shift,
This giving over to the caring,
Cradling,
Holding of mind and body,
Surrendering to the universal love,
You can safely allow yourself to let your own love flow freely,
Becoming aware of the warmth and goodwill from others toward you,
Bringing this loving awareness to your heart and letting it rest there for a few breaths.
If that feels good for you,
Gently place one hand on your heart,
Other one on your lower belly and repeat these affirmations one more time.
May I be free from suffering.
May I grow in peace.
May I be safe and secure.
May I live with ease.
May I live in love.
Feeling the vibrations from these words permeate the whole body from the centre of your heart.
May I be free from suffering.
May I grow in peace.
May I be safe and secure.
May I live with ease.
May I live in love.
If there is anything else you would like to say to yourself,
Feel free to do so and physically feel these words motion over your entire being like warm healing waves,
Resting in it.
As we close this practice,
Whenever you're ready,
Bring yourself back to the room you're in,
Taking all the sounds,
Smells and feels in your surroundings.
Gently wiggle your toes,
Your fingers,
Slowly turn your head from side to side,
Awakening the neck.
Give yourself a nice long stretch,
Like after a good night's rest.
You may want to give yourself a big hug if that feels good.
And when you're ready,
Gently flutter your eyes back open.
Feel deep gratitude for yourself.
Thank yourself for taking this special time to gift yourself the nourishment and care for your heart and emotional well-being.
Thank you for practicing with me.
May you be happy and well.
I am sending you so much love.
Blessings.

This was really good. I love that you didn’t focus on just the ailment, but rather what ideal state looks like in a gentle journey toward that. Your voice was very soothing.
