Hello and welcome to your inner wisdom meditation.
This meditation is designed to tap into your inner wisdom and cultivate the sense of inner calm and peace while letting go of any negative emotions or feelings that no longer serve you.
To begin let's find a comfortable seated position in a chair or in a cushion on the floor.
Find yourself a comfortable spot where you can relax and disconnect for the next 10 minutes.
Release any tension from your shoulders and your spine.
Keep your spine nice and straight and remain in a comfortable yet alert position.
Your palms can be facing up to receive or down to ground.
If it feels good you may gently close your eyes or keep them open with a soft gaze looking down.
Stay nice and easy,
Feeling the support underneath you.
During this meditation you will hear my voice and silence stretches in between.
Use this silence to go deeper and to connect with your inner wisdom,
Your true voice that is always within you.
I will be here checking in periodically.
Let's bring your awareness to the nose and do a couple of rounds of natural easy breathing to help us sync our body and our mind.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose and just observing how that feels.
Inhale and exhale,
Observing your breath flowing in and out like a river without changing anything,
Without controlling the breath,
Becoming friends with your breath allowing it to flow as it wants to.
If it feels good you may like to try saying let on your inhale and go on the exhale.
Inhale,
Let,
Exhale,
Go.
Through the nose and again,
Inhale,
Let,
Exhale,
Go.
Continue with your rounds of breath on your own,
Repeating those words silently in your mind.
Let go.
And now I invite you to open your awareness to any thoughts or emotions or feelings that might be coming up for you in this moment.
Feelings or emotions can be pleasant or unpleasant.
I invite you to just observe them without judging,
Without giving them any color.
Like you are sitting in a movie theater and watching a movie unfolding in front of you.
As thoughts or emotions come and go,
Be open to whatever comes to your awareness.
Don't push anything away.
Try to let go of any control and simply sit with what is in the present moment.
Just paying attention without giving it any color.
Continue to watch or sense your thoughts as they come and go.
If a thought is negative,
Simply accept it without changing anything and let it be.
If a strong negative emotion comes up for you,
You are always welcome to come back home to your breath and observe your breath for a couple of rounds and watch this thought or emotion gradually disappear.
As you continue to simply observe your thoughts and feelings,
You may notice that there is a little gap within the thought and yourself and you may realize that you are not your thoughts,
You are not your emotions.
You are the observer,
You are the seer,
You are the witness of your mind flowing in front of your inner wisdom.
Allow yourself to rest in your inner wisdom and let everything just be.
Continue to rest in the love and awareness of ever changing thoughts and emotions,
Watching them flowing through you like a river,
Coming and going,
Just observing,
Simply watching nothing else to do.
And as we come to a close of this practice,
Bring your awareness back to your breath.
Become aware of your surroundings,
Taking in the sounds in the room you are sitting in,
The building you are in.
Pay attention to any sensations in the body you may feel.
Take a deep inhale and as you exhale let go of everything that no longer serves you.
Feel how good and liberating it feels,
Exhaling.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Give yourself a few moments to come back.
Take a moment to give yourself gratitude for taking this time to connect with your inner wisdom and cultivate your inner peace.
