Hello my sweet friend Welcome to this gentle morning practice.
Together we're going to meditate for about five minutes and I will guide the process to get you into a space that you feel ready to take on the day,
More centered in your body and uplifted in your spirit.
So go ahead and get settled in whatever way feels good for you in this moment.
If you're lying down or sitting,
See if you can find Just slightly more ease in the posture that you hold.
Beginning to breathe.
Deeply into the abdomen.
And maybe exhaling through the mouth or the nose extra slowly.
Letting the body settle and become a little bit heavier.
If you're doing this meditation as soon as you wake up,
Maybe it's easy to stay.
Heavy and present.
Already have gotten out of bed and done a couple things in your day see if you can return to that place of Just waking.
Not having to rush into the next moment.
But finding stillness where you are before.

Life begins to get busy again.
You can have your eyes closed through this process.
Or softly gaze out in front of you.
How are you doing this morning?
Not how are you expecting to do based on.

How have you been other mornings?
Or what you expect to find,
But in this moment,
Without any other.

Input.
How are you right now?
Are you feeling.
.
.
Calm or stressed.
Optimistic or worried about the day.
All feelings are welcome.
And as you begin to shift your awareness into your internal space,
Become quiet and soft.
In your body and your mind.
Notice if.
.
.
You can feel your heart.
Maybe it's the beating of your heart or just the energetic heart space in the center of the chest.
And allow yourself to breathe there.
Expanding in and out of your energetic heart.
As you do so.

Invite in a soft smile to your face.
Maybe your heart is holding.
Tenderness.
In the form of sadness,
Or maybe it's holding tenderness in the form of love and gratitude.
Or maybe it's feeling a little bit closed off today.
Whatever it is,
Just breathe there.
Saying thank you to your heart that holds so much for you.
It gives you so much information.
Your heart radiates further.
Energetically around your body than any other part of you.
Your heart is the first thing that comes into contact.
With the world.
As you walk through life.
So as you sit this morning.
Preparing to move throughout your day and feeling into your heart.
See if there is word an intention or an affirmation that you can anchor into.
To carry you through the day.
Something like.

Wow.
Presence.
Or.
.
.
I am open to life's gift.
You don't have to think too hard about it.
Just find.
.

Something that we use as a reminder.
Yourself as you come back time and time again to your breath throughout the day Back to your heart throughout the day and back to this reminder.
Throughout the day.
Repeat it a few times to yourself here to really Lock it in.
And as you Begin to slowly awaken your body.
Start by using some breath.
Again just like we started intentionally making the breath a little bit more active.
Breathing down into the core.
Maybe wiggling.
Fingers or toes.
Perhaps taking.
A full body stretch.
And then slowly when you feel ready.

Blinking the eyes open.
Greeting the day and the sun,
Looking around and observing the space that you're in.
Looking at your body.
Giving gratitude for this vessel that will carry you through your day today.
As you move through the day,
Remember to come back to that anchor piece,
That mantra,
That affirmation.
