Hello and welcome to this midday reset.

My name is Maya Raine.

Go ahead and find a comfortable seat somewhere that you won't be disturbed and that you can take a few moments to yourself.

Allow yourself to sit comfortably,

Close your eyes,

And begin to deepen your breathing.

Notice how your body is feeling and if it's holding any tension.

Anywhere that feels like you're holding on to something,

I invite you to exhale and release,

Finding just 10% more ease.

Allow your day to melt away from you now.

In this moment,

There is nothing to do,

Nowhere to be.

Allow yourself to drift into a place of stillness,

Continuing with your deep breathing,

And giving yourself permission to fully release and relax.

Now I'm going to invite you to do a breathing technique called square breathing.

You're going to inhale for a count of four,

Hold it at the top of your inhale for a count of four,

Exhale for a count of four,

And hold it at the bottom of your exhale for a count of four.

We'll do this four times.

So beginning with an exhale just to reset,

Begin,

Inhale for four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold for three,

Two,

One,

Out for three,

Two,

One,

Hold for three,

Two,

In for three,

Two,

One,

Hold three,

Two,

Out for three,

Two,

One,

Hold for three,

Two,

Halfway there,

In for three,

Two,

One,

Hold for three,

Two,

Out for three,

Two,

Hold for three,

Two,

Last one,

In for three,

Two,

One,

Three,

Two,

One,

Out for three,

Two,

And hold for three,

Two.

Coming back now into normal breathing,

Releasing any attention to your breath and just letting it flow naturally.

Again,

Seeing if you can find ten percent more relaxation in your bringing your thoughts back to this moment,

Centering them back in your present physical body right here,

Right now.

To wrap up this midday reset,

Go ahead and take a strong inhale and a long sigh exhale,

Bringing your awareness back into your body,

Remembering the surroundings of where you are,

Allowing yourself to come at space and flutter your eyes open,

Continuing throughout your day.
