Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated with your spine straight or your back supported or laying in bed,

Allowing this meditation to be the first thing you encounter in your day.

Gently close your eyes,

Taking a moment to stay present in this morning.

Take a few deep breaths,

Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling fully through your mouth.

With each breath,

Allow your body to relax and release any tension or stress that you may have started holding first thing when you woke up this morning.

Allow the tension to release with every exhale,

Softening into your body,

Allowing your morning to begin with ease.

Now,

Bring your attention to the sensations in your body.

Notice the weight of your body being held up in your chair or by your bed.

Notice every place where your body makes contact with something else,

Paying attention to the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen with each breath.

As you continue to breathe,

Bring to mind a vision of a healthy and happy day.

Imagine what it would feel like to wake up feeling refreshed,

Energized,

Ready to embrace the day ahead with positivity and joy.

Visualize in your mind's eye the sunlight streaming through your window,

Filling your room with warm,

Golden rays.

Feel the gentle warmth on your skin and the sense of renewal and new beginnings that the morning brings.

Take a moment to express gratitude for this new day and for the opportunity to experience it in good health and happiness.

Reflect on the things that you appreciate about your life,

Your body,

And your overall well-being,

Allowing this rampage of appreciation to consume you with so much gratitude,

Envisioning every piece as it crosses your mind and allowing yourself to feel deeply into that space of appreciation and thankfulness.

Now shift your attention to your breath once again.

Focus on the sensation of the breath flowing in and out of your body.

Allow your breath to become calm,

Steady,

And rhythmic.

With each inhalation,

Imagine you are breathing in positivity,

Good health,

Joy,

And love.

Feel these qualities filling every cell of your body,

Energizing and revitalizing you from within.

With each exhalation,

Release any negativity,

Any stress,

Or any worries.

Let go of anything that no longer serves you,

Allowing it to dissolve and fade away with each breath.

Continue breathing this rhythm,

Inhaling positivity and exhaling tension.

Allow yourself to fully immerse in the present moment,

Feeling a deep sense of peace and contentment.

Take this opportunity to set forth an intention for yourself for your day today.

Which of these feelings do you want to call in more of in your experience today?

More health?

More happiness?

More peace?

Whatever it is,

Phrasing it to yourself in this moment as a way of claiming it as your own.

I claim health.

I call in happiness.

I intend for peace to fill my entire day today.

Breathing your intention deeply into your body,

Letting it find a home there to rest in.

Bringing your awareness back into your body,

Allow yourself to prepare to exit this meditation,

But move forward still in a place of connectedness and centeredness throughout your day.

Taking a moment to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Or to gently stretch your body,

And finding a moment of appreciation for the tranquility that you have cultivated in this morning practice.

Carry the feelings that you found here as you go throughout your day.

Remember that you have the power to create a positive and joyful morning each day for your thoughts,

Intentions,

And actions.

You can do this on your own,

Or you can revisit this meditation time and time again to remember how deeply rooted this sense of peace and ease can be.

When you are ready,

Slowly allowing yourself to blink your eyes open,

Taking a moment to appreciate the world around you,

And embrace the day ahead with a renewed sense of well-being and gratitude.

May your morning and your day be healthy,

Happy,

And filled with abundance.

"Rampage of appreciation." I'm going to have to remember that one. I had this set to listen as soon as I woke up (listened to it twice actually), and boy am I glad I did. I feel alive and happy, greatful to be here in my body with all my parts. Thankful I'm able to experience all these feelings, even the stiffness in my back. (Thank you for letting me know to stretch, back) as the track progresses you feel more alive, and more in tune with the universe. Maya has learned to channel her many talents into the most powerful tacks. Nameste. Thank you for another.
