This is a meditation designed for therapists and those who take care of others. This is space to honor how the work of psychotherapy calls on the therapist to avail themselves in deep and intimate ways. This is also space to allow a moment to reflect, reset, and reconnect in love with oneself in order to do the work psychotherapy requires.

Transcript

This is a meditation for therapists and for those who take care of others.

This is a time and a space for you.

Find a comfortable seat for your body,

Paying extra attention to the comfort of your neck and your lower back.

Close your eyes if that feels right.

Check in with you.

Where are you?

In your body?

In your mind?

In your spirit?

Where are you right now?

Come here to this moment with me.

What is needed from you today?

To play?

To explore?

To consider?

To support?

To be curious?

To be available?

To be engaged?

To be used to find one's way?

To be open?

To be open to understanding another more fully,

More completely,

With more complexity,

With more nuance.

And now come back to you and your own strength to allow others to move into you and move through you.

To find their way,

To find the human love,

And with the love we stay.

And with the love we stay.

And with the love we stay.

Love here,

Now,

For you,

For them,

For us.

Namaste.
