Transcript

This is a meditation of possibility.

The possibility to bring peace and calm and centeredness into this moment and to the moments after this meditation ends.

So gather yourself up,

Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Be sure your back is supported and your feet feel grounded or comfortable.

Close your eyes if that feels safe and begin to focus on your breath,

Noticing how the breath comes into the body and the breath leaves the body.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Centered on the breath because with the breath there is hope and there is possibility.

We take in the energy that gives us life.

We expel the energy that weighs us down.

Breathing in hope,

Exhaling fear.

Breathing in centeredness,

Exhaling chaos.

Bringing in possibility,

Exhaling questions and doubt.

Center on this moment and the power of your breath to bring hope and richness and possibility to this day.

When you have the power to center your breath and turn your mind away from distraction,

From energy that's counter to your purpose,

You embrace the power of this moment.

You embrace your freedom in this moment.

Freedom.

Possibility.

Hope.

Let's gather our breath together once more.

Breathing in deeply and exhaling completely.

And again,

Inhaling deeply and exhaling completely.

And one last time,

Breathing in deeply and exhaling completely.

Allow your breath to return to its natural pace.

And when you're ready,

Slowly begin to open your eyes and to bring your attention back to the room.

Thank you.

Calm and refreshed after the background rain audio and soothing voice guided me through a journey of breathing in what I need and exhaling what I need to let go of.
