This is a three minute meditation to bring your attention to your heart center.
Find a comfortable space.
Pay attention to your back and its support and to the grounding of your feet connected with the earth or supported with a pillow.
Close your eyes if that feels safe and gather your hands to your heart center.
Bring all of your attention to the hands on your heart.
Tuning into the sensation of the beating of your heart beneath your hands.
Peace your breath with the beating of your heart.
Allow the beating of your heart and your breath to be in sync with one another in harmony and in peace.
Feel the rise and the fall of your chest as you continue to hold your hands to your heart.
The symphony of breath,
A beating heart and a rising and falling chest.
Let this symphony captivate your attention.
Feel your mind,
Feel your focus entirely in this moment.
Grounded,
Connected,
In rhythm.
And now take a deep breath in,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling completely.
And another one,
Inhaling deeply and exhaling completely.
And one last time,
Breathing in deeply and exhaling completely.
Slowly begin to open your eyes and bring your attention back to your world.
