Find yourself in a comfortable position.
Either sitting or lying down.
If you're sitting in a chair,
Please have your feet flat on the floor.
Connected to the earth.
Keep your spine straight.
And imagine yourself as a tree.
Standing tall and strong.
Reaching up to the sky above you.
Beginning by breathing deeply.
Taking several deep breaths.
Connecting the inhale to the exhale.
Giving yourself permission to relax and let go.
Letting go of the need to be doing anything at all.
Letting go into relaxation.
As you relax and breathe,
If your mind begins to wander,
Simply bring it back to your breath.
Any attempt to meditate is successful as long as you bring your awareness back to your breath if your mind begins to wander.
Feel,
Sense or imagine around yourself now is a boundary of pure white light.
This boundary surrounds you.
It is all the way around you.
It extends above your head,
Below your feet,
From the front of you to the back of you and from side to side.
Everything within this boundary is your sacred space and it protects you at all times,
In all places and in all ways.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Relaxing and breathing.
Letting go.
Knowing that it is safe to relax and let go.
Into contemplation.
Meditation.
And relaxation.
Imagine,
Sense or feel yourself now in your peaceful place.
Your peaceful place may be somewhere that you have been before or somewhere that you imagine.
Notice your surroundings,
The colours,
The fragrances and the sounds within your peaceful place.
You feel safe and happy and peaceful in your peaceful place.
It is a place that is always there for you,
Whenever you need peace.
Your peaceful place is the most beautiful place that you can imagine.
It is a place where you can be at peace with yourself and the world.
It is a place where you can let go.
It is a place that you can come to,
To become stronger,
Healthier,
More vibrant,
Loving and connected.
As you stand within your peaceful place,
Bring your awareness to your left hand and you notice in your left hand you are holding a small bag.
That it has pebbles in it.
And in your right hand you notice that you have another small bag.
And in this bag there is a very special seed.
The bag in your left hand,
You open it and you take out one of the pebbles and each one of these pebbles represents a problem or worry that you have.
In this place you can bury your pebbles and they can fertilize the earth in your peaceful place and help the flowers and the plants to grow.
So go ahead and do that now,
One by one,
Putting each of your pebbles in the earth,
Knowing that they will be absorbed by the earth.
And will help to produce an abundance of flowers and fruit.
You are offering the earth your negative thoughts,
Toxic feelings,
Fears,
Unhealthy addictions,
Any disease that might affect your body and anything at all that you want to let go of in your life.
Now your bag is empty.
You feel lighter.
You feel alive.
You feel yourself expanding with feelings of love and connection.
You feel so good.
Now it is time to plant your special seed.
You take the seed,
You have the bag in your right hand.
You take a walk around your peaceful place looking for a special patch of earth for you to plant your seed.
Your seed holds a special quality of something that you would like to have more of in your life right now.
A quality that you would like to bring into your life.
Maybe it's love,
It's compassion,
Confidence,
Empathy.
Anything at all,
Any quality that you would like to bring into your life right now is in this special seed.
Walking around your peaceful place you've now found the patch of earth that you're going to plant a special seed in.
It's time to prepare the soil.
Begin by weeding the area,
Gently removing anything that may inhibit your seed's growth.
Aerate the soil,
Dig the earth,
Add some compost if you wish.
And nearby you find a magical pool of water so that you can water this special patch of earth.
Now the earth is ready for you to plant your special seed.
Take a few moments to embrace the quality of that seed that you are calling forth into your life.
And gently,
Lovingly and purposefully place the seed into the earth that you have prepared.
Pat the earth gently where you have placed the seed and make an agreement with yourself to return to nurture your seed's growth.
Take one more moment with your seed and affirm the quality you now call forth into your life.
You may say something like,
I am experiencing an ever increasing abundance of the quality that I now call forth into my life.
And now it is time for you to return to where you began this journey today and know that you can return at any time to your peaceful place,
Wherever you need peace.
And you can return to your peaceful place and nurture that seed,
That quality that you are calling forth into your life.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Bring your awareness now back into your body,
Back into the room.
Begin to wriggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you are ready,
You may gently open your eyes.
Bring yourself to full alertness.
And go about your day.
