Find yourself in a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
Your feet flat on the floor connected to the earth and your spine straight reaching up to the sky above you.
Give yourself permission right now to let go and relax.
Give yourself permission to let go of the need to be doing anything at all.
This is your time,
This is your space to relax and let go.
Relaxing is a natural way to health and happiness.
It feels good to relax,
It's natural to relax.
Breathing in and breathing out,
Connecting the inhale to the exhale.
Just noticing and observing your breath in and out.
If your mind begins to wander gently bring it back to your breath as you breathe in and out.
Becoming aware of your body and any sensations that are occurring.
Noticing your body from the tips of your toes to the top of your head.
Be aware of the sensation and the feeling of your clothing against your skin.
Noticing and observing.
Bring your awareness now to any tastes that are on your palate and the moisture within your mouth.
Just noticing and observing.
Bring your awareness now to any fragrances that are in the room and around you.
Bring your awareness to your breath as it enters into your body through your nostrils.
Be aware of your breath as it exits out of your body through your nostrils.
Bring your awareness now to your mind and your thoughts and any images that may be occurring.
Noticing your thoughts say come and go.
Like clouds passing by in the sky.
You're aware of them but you don't engage with them.
You simply observe your thoughts like clouds passing by in the sky.
Bring your awareness now to any sounds that are around you.
The sound of your breath.
The sound of my voice.
Perhaps the sounds of passing traffic.
You're just noticing and observing and you're relaxing and breathing in the present moment.
Breathing and relaxing.
Bring your awareness now back to your breath and silently repeat to yourself.
I am aware that I am breathing.
I am aware that I am breathing.
I am aware that I am breathing.
I am aware that I am breathing.
Feel how your breath is your friend.
It's always there for you,
Supporting you.
Become familiar with your breath that is always there for you.
The closer you are to your breath the greater the feeling of inner peace.
Continue to follow the natural rhythm of your breathing of your breath.
And imagine,
Sense or feel that you are breathing in all of the love and compassion in the universe.
And allow this quality to encompass every part of your being.
And gently bring your awareness into your heart space in the centre of your chest.
Where you feel love for yourself,
Love for others and love for the world.
Breathe into your heart space and as you breathe into your heart space visualize or sense within your heart is a radiant crystal of healing light.
Remain in your heart centre now and as you do so begin to feel inspired to chant the eternal sound of Om.
Om.
Now bring your awareness back to your breath.
Notice the inhale as it enters your nostrils and fills your lungs.
Become aware of the space between the inhale and the exhale.
Notice how your body feels as you exhale and prepare to receive the next inhale.
On the in-breath silently repeat I am breathing in.
On the out-breath silently repeat I am breathing out.
On the in-breath silently repeat I am breathing out.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
I am breathing in.
I am breathing out.
On the in-breath silently repeat I am.
On the out-breath silently repeat I am.
On the out-breath silently repeat I am.
I am peaceful.
I am peaceful.
I am peaceful.
Breath steady.
Breath steady.
Breath centred.
Breath flowing.
Gently now bring your awareness back to your body.
Bring yourself back into the room.
Bringing back with you feelings of peace and relaxation.
Bringing yourself to full alertness by wriggling your fingers and your toes.
Then when you are ready gently open your eyes.
Have a stretch.
You can go about your day.
