Good morning.

To begin,

Let's stand up.

Please place one hand on your heart and one on your belly.

Now we will take three deep breaths.

Ready?

Good.

Let your arms fall comfortably by your sides.

Notice the way the floor feels beneath your feet.

Imagine there are roots growing from your feet,

Through the floor,

And into the ground.

Imagine these roots are connecting you to the energy of the earth itself.

Feel the energy rising up through your feet,

Your ankles,

Your legs,

Your hips,

Your waist,

Your chest,

Through your arms,

And all the way up through the top of your head.

It's as if you have plugged yourself into the energy of the earth and given yourself a charge.

Now that we have gained some energy,

Let's move around a bit.

Let your hands come into fists.

Now twist your body from side to side and let your arms be loose,

Allowing your fists to pat your sides and back as they fling around your body.

How does that feel?

As you feel ready,

Begin to slow down the twisting until you naturally come to a stop.

Let the palms of your hands open and face forward.

Straighten your back and roll your shoulders up to your ears,

Then down and back,

Encouraging your chest to open.

Allow your eyes to gently close if you wish.

Let's take three more centering breaths.

Ready?

Good.

Today will be a great day.

You are a confident learner.

You are able to ask questions and advocate for your education.

You have great interest in gaining new insights and information.

You enjoy being challenged and encouraged to grow.

Take a moment to focus on something that you're looking forward to today.

Now let's set an intention for this new day.

Today I will show up for myself.

I will be the best version of myself and feel contentment at the end of the day.

Allow your eyes to open if you chose to close them.

Cross your arms over your chest and hold your earlobes.

While holding your earlobes,

As you inhale,

Descend into a squat,

Bending your knees as if you are sitting in a chair.

Good.

Now as you exhale,

Rise back up.

We will do this 17 more times.

Now you are ready to begin your day.
