It's bedtime now.

Time to snuggle into bed and let your eyes softly close.

Let's take three deep breaths.

Ready?

Breathe in.

.

.

Forget the rest.

Breathe out.

Good.

Notice how warm and comfortable and safe you feel.

Tonight,

We are going to reflect on the day and pay special attention to what you experienced as good.

Let's start with this morning.

When you woke up this morning,

How did you feel as you stretched beneath your warm covers?

Do you remember how wonderful it felt in those first few moments as you were waking up?

Was there someone in your home that gave you a smile or a hug this morning?

How about throughout your day?

Who was kind to you today?

What activities did you do today?

Were there any activities that made you feel smart,

Strong,

Capable,

Or confident?

Who did you spend time with today?

Can you think of ways that you brought joy to their day or they brought joy to yours?

What did you experience today that you thought was beautiful?

How did you experience this beauty?

Was it something you saw,

Something you heard,

Or perhaps something you felt?

Allow your heart to be filled with these good memories of the day.

As you start to drift off to sleep,

Think of how you might make tomorrow a great day.

How might you be kind to yourself?

How might you show kindness to someone else?

You have done such a great job practicing gratitude tonight and setting yourself up for a great day tomorrow.

There's nothing left to do now but peacefully drift off to sleep knowing that another great day is behind you.

Let's take three deep breaths to settle back into our sleepy state.

Sleep tight.
