Being heard.
Just two words,
Yet they mean so much.
What does being heard mean to you?
And when was the last time that you truly felt heard?
It's so important to be able to share,
Express,
And release whatever thoughts,
Feelings,
Emotions that might be weighing you down.
There may be some very negative thoughts,
Very intense emotions.
The feeling of fear,
Fear of being judged.
You may be feeling guilt,
Regret,
Shame,
For whatever you might have done,
Whatever you might have not done.
And it may be very challenging to find someone that you can trust to confide in with your deepest thoughts,
With the most intense emotions,
Or even your darkest secrets.
And sometimes it may be someone that you don't even know,
That doesn't know you.
Whether you know the person or not,
It's so important to reach out to someone when you need to,
When you really need to be heard,
To allow yourself to simply be heard without judgment,
Without the need to give you advice,
To tell you what you should or shouldn't do.
Someone who can simply hear you out,
Listen to what you have to say,
Listen to your thoughts,
Listen to your feelings,
And validate your feelings,
Knowing that your feelings are valid and you deserve to be heard just like anyone else.
Knowing in your heart,
Knowing in your soul that you deserve to have peace of mind,
To have peace in your heart,
To have peace in your soul,
So that you can move forward with your life regardless of whatever might be weighing you down right now.
You deserve to be able to move forward with peace,
With freedom.
And feeling into who it is that you can turn to for the support that you need,
For the empathy and the compassion that goes with being heard without judgment.
