Welcome to this meditation on finding inner peace amidst the chaos.
Getting yourself into a comfortable position.
Gently closing your eyes or allowing a soft eye gaze.
Relaxing your mind,
Relaxing your body.
Opening your mind,
Opening your heart,
Connecting with your soul.
Feeling your feet against the ground.
Feeling the connection to the earth,
To Mother Earth.
Focusing your attention on your breath.
With every breath in,
Breathing in love.
Breathing in peace.
Breathing in harmony.
And with every breath out,
Breathing out fear.
Breathing out anything that disturbs the peace.
Breathing out anything that does not support you.
And noticing how it feels with every breath in and with every breath out.
Noticing the sensations in your body.
And inviting you to consider what would it be like if you could find inner peace within yourself regardless of what might be going on outside of you in the outer world.
Regardless of any chaos.
Regardless of any atrocities.
Regardless of any loss.
Unnecessary loss.
Unnecessary suffering.
What if it was possible,
Despite all of that,
If you could still find inner peace within yourself without any guilt,
Without any shame.
If you could still feel compassion,
Feel the loss,
Feel the suffering.
That's going on around you by people that perhaps you don't know.
Yet you can feel the loss.
You can feel the suffering.
You can imagine it.
But what if you could also feel peace within yourself despite all of that.
What if you could find the strength in the fragility,
The strength in the compassion,
The strength in the love that you have for others that you may not even know.
Knowing what they might be going through.
Knowing what they might have been through.
Doing what you can to help.
Knowing that you can only do so much.
What if what you can do is create a state of inner peace within yourself.
And what if you could not only create the inner peace within yourself,
Find the inner peace.
What if you could keep that inner peace within yourself,
Keep maintaining it despite whatever might be going on in the world outside of you.
What if you could also not only find the peace,
Maintain the peace.
What if you could go a step further and project the inner peace from within you.
If you can project that on to the outer world,
The world outside of you,
The people around you.
Imagine what would that be like imagine what would that be like if you could create a sense of inner peace and harmony inside yourself regardless of whatever might be going on outside of yourself,
However horrific it might be.
Maintaining a sense of inner peace,
Harmony and balance and projecting that onto the world around you.
Expanding the peace from within you,
Expanding the peace outside of you.
Imagine what that would be like.
Imagine opening your eyes and looking around and noticing the projection of your inner peace onto those around you despite whatever might be going on.
Imagine the strength,
The inner strength,
The outer strength the outer strength that comes from the inner peace within you.
Gently starting to come back into the space,
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes and opening your eyes when you're ready.
