Welcome.

Today we are going to clear the mind from all the stimulation and our busy lives.

Just rest comfortably as you become more and more relaxed with each moment that passes by.

Let's soothe and calm the mind,

Beginning by breathing in deeply and when you breathe out closing your eyes.

You are here and now and every moment of your past has led to this one and this moment is creating your future.

We all know that it is best to make decisions when our mind is clear and calm.

So let's just relax and cleanse your awareness.

There is no need to feel anxious or stressed in this moment.

You are being transformed with the power of love and being present.

Begin to breathe in and out,

Counting 1,

2,

3,

4,

5.

Breathing in and out,

Just counting to 5 and starting over again.

Breathing.

With each number you hear,

Imagine that you are beginning the process of cleansing the mind.

1,

2,

3,

4,

5.

Now for gentle breathing.

1,

2,

Very good.

You may find that counting is a way of getting the mind to focus on something other than your worries.

Now let's use our creative mind to imagine that you are sitting in a golden meadow.

Your body is completely relaxed.

You are surrounded by yellow flowers.

As you gaze out at the beauty that surrounds you,

The blueness of the sky is brilliant.

The sun is beaming down its warming rays,

Kissing your skin with nutrients.

The flowers and tall grasses are gently swaying in the breeze.

You can hear the air passing by.

Your body is now more relaxed than it's been all day.

Calm,

Peaceful.

And the mind is following along.

Imagine that you see that blue sky above.

Beautiful white clouds are slowly drifting across the heavens.

The clouds get smaller and smaller as they drift towards the horizon.

And these clouds represent your thoughts.

And just as your thoughts come and go,

So do the clouds.

The sky represents your mind.

And the earth you sit upon represents your physical body.

You are so very relaxed.

Breathe in deeply again now and count to five as we did before.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Relaxing.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Within your creative mind you are still within the meadow.

Now you are walking along and the sound of trickling water catches your ear.

You move towards it.

You find a gentle stream flowing through the meadow.

It is reflecting the sunlight,

Glimmering back shades of gold and blue for your eyes to see.

This is the river of letting go.

It is time to let go of your worries and concerns into the river.

So imagine that any stress you have is represented by pebbles in your pockets.

How heavy are your pockets with the pebbles of stress?

Go ahead and reach your hand in and pull out a pebble.

What does this one represent?

Now throw it into the river.

Reach into your other pocket and pull out another pebble.

What does this one represent?

Throw it into the river.

There are many stones in your pockets because you have a lot to let go of.

So keep going,

Throwing each stone into the river,

One after the other.

And as you do so,

You feel lighter and lighter.

The mind is becoming more clear.

Each pebble is representing something you need to let go of.

Something that was holding you back from being your best self.

Any old memories are flowing through the mind as you throw these stones back into the river.

Letting them leave you once and for all.

It is time to move on.

There are only a few stones left in your pockets now,

So reach in and grab them all.

You pull your hand out to see there are three left.

What are three things that you really want to let go of?

Honor this moment because it is changing your life.

Now breathe in deeply if you wish and throw those last three pebbles into the river.

You see their flash.

Begin to walk now,

Feeling ever so light.

Your mind is ready for new opportunities.

You approach life with a sense of clarity now,

More so than ever before.

As you enjoy your last few moments in the meadow of yellow flowers,

Look up at the blue sky and set your intention.

What is your intention for your life?

Allow for your meditation to close in your own time and whenever you feel ready,

You may open your eyes.

Namaste.
