So settle your body mind and inner speech as best you can into quietude and stillness.
Putting aside worries and concerns.
Putting aside the hindrances as best you can.
And letting your body mind and inner speech come into quietude.
Finding that still space within your heart.
That quiet place in your heart.
Thinking into peacefulness.
So now I invite you to recollect or imagine or think about genuine happiness.
And perhaps this is deep peacefulness as well for you.
Bring it to mind.
Perhaps you've had this experience in the past or if you haven't had this experience in the past,
Imagine what it could be like.
Enrich this experience in whatever way is possible for you.
Perhaps you can think about the somatic experience of this experience.
How it feels in your body.
And feel it.
Perhaps you have images of such an experience.
Seeing yourself or seeing the scene or seeing circumstances in your mind.
Perhaps you are experiencing great pleasure in the imagination or recollection of this genuine happiness,
Peacefulness,
Contentment.
Or perhaps you're hearing words,
Maybe words of encouragement or loving words being whispered into your ear,
Your inner ear.
Or perhaps the experiences emanating words such as peace,
Happiness,
Joy.
And in particular,
You're invited to place your mind in the area of your chest and your heart from that perspective.
And that these thoughts,
Images,
Sounds,
Sensations,
Recollections,
Imaginations,
Tumble around your heart.
And let it start to radiate and permeate your body,
Your whole being as if there is a sign for this experience.
It could be an image,
It could be a feeling,
It could be a word.
Let this sign pervade you.
Let it touch every cell of your body,
Fill you,
Every corner of your mind.
In fact,
Let the corners dissolve and let there be spaciousness.
Become absorbed into this experience and let it absorb into you.
Marinate in it.
Dwell in peacefulness,
Calm,
Serenity,
Happiness,
Joy,
Contentment,
Deep peacefulness.
And if any troubling thoughts arise,
Troubling memories,
Worries about the future,
Concerns about the past,
Concepts negative about yourself.
If any of these painful experiences arise,
Let them arise and let them be completely dissolved away.
Let them fade away in insignificance.
Let them be outshined by the glowing peace in your heart,
The happiness in your heart,
The deep acceptance,
The love in your heart.
Let this experience heal all heartache.
