Take a few moments creating an intention,
Intention for this practice.
Creating an intention is like being mindful of what you're doing,
Remembering your intention.
Also establish a sense of diligence,
A commitment to what you're doing in preparation for whatever hindrances that may come your way.
And then let your mind settle,
Relax,
Put worries and concerns aside.
Let thoughts be on the edge of your awareness for the moment.
And drop into stillness and quietude.
Peace.
So I invite you to listen to a prayer of forgiveness.
And if there's any struggle with listening to this,
If you can,
Release the struggle.
Say these words to yourself,
If I have harmed anyone in any way,
Either knowingly or unknowingly,
Through my own confusions,
I ask their forgiveness.
If anyone has harmed me in any way,
Either knowingly or unknowingly,
Through their own confusions,
I forgive them.
And if there is a situation I am not yet ready to forgive,
I forgive myself for that.
For all the ways that I harm myself,

Doubt,

That we all have in our hearts.

Find it.
It may be covered by busyness and life.
But see it through.
See it through the coverings.
Find it deep in your heart.
Gently surrender into it.
That well of kindness,
That subtle and gentle surrender,
Delicate,
Sink into that space and let it uplift you.
Perhaps you can see it like a visual quality,
Like a light,
Like a pond or a lake or something that you sink into,
A pool.
And let it come into your heart fully.
Let you absorb into it so that it pervades your being.
Every cell of your body being touched.
Every part of your being being touched.
Being healed.
Gently loved.
Cherished.
Let it reside in that space.
Let it nourish and nurture you,
Heal you,
Harmonize you.
Let it be divine.
A divine abode.
Let it be your abode.
You're invited now,
Like pulling open the shutters on a window or opening a door.
Open the door of your heart,
Pulling back,
Allowing your heart to shine out in front of you.
Let that loving kindness shining infinitely in front.
Like pulling a curtain aside to the sides of you,
Both sides.
Let this brilliant light shine out both sides of you,
Infinitely.
Let it shine behind you,
Pulling back the curtain and letting the radiance of this quality shine out behind you,
Infinitely.
Into infinite space and above you,
Pulling aside the shutters.
Let it shine out infinitely above you and below,
Infinitely.
In all directions.
Radiant.
Spacious.
Infinitely spacious.
And if there are any other beings out there in this space,
Their hearts are also being touched with loving kindness.
Abide in the spacious quality of metta,
