Go ahead and get yourself comfortable seated in your meditation space beginning to focus your attention onto the breath.
Taking a deep inhale filling up the belly expanding the chest and releasing the breath down through the body and on out into feel the breath move through into the nostrils roll the shoulders onto your back loosen the jaw and release it back out in through the nose out through the nose in yoga is called the Ujjayi breath breath of power victorious breath taking a few more moments here to get yourself settled get yourself relaxed and really what we're doing is getting you ready to know more of the truth of who you really are bring to mind now a red circle that is swirling on the base of your spine opening breathing into a root chakra feeling yourself ground a little more firmly a little more peacefully as you imagine this red ball of light circling around the base of your spine I believe many of us have a feeling that we aren't quite enough and we're always trying to make more money we're always trying to get into a relationship we're trying to buy something that we think we need we live in this state of lack in this state of fear fear of what others think fear of what they don't think fear of having enough fear of being enough fear of doing enough what this meditation is about is coming to that place inside where you know without any shred of doubt that you are enough begin to repeat those words to yourself in your head as I speak them I am enough just as I am I am enough just as I am in this moment there's nothing to do there's nothing else to think about your thoughts wander simply bring them back to this mantra I am enough just as I am sit down into that root and allow that affirmation to pour in from the crown of your head down through your spine I am enough just as I am now I'd like you to think about something that you have coming up today maybe this week maybe it's a presentation at work maybe it's a conversation that you've been meaning to have something that you're a little nervous about that brings up those anxieties of needing it to go a certain way or having to have this person think this thing and envision what that situation may be in your life this week see yourself about to enter in about to enter into the meeting about to pick up the phone imagine yourself simply saying before you do this I am enough just as I am I am enough just as I am and watch the fear watch the anxiety the judgment watch it just melt down your body and out into the ether away it is no longer serving you anymore and go ahead and watch yourself begin that conversation start that presentation or just move through your day without fear without needing to get anything from anyone the truth in you who you really are has always been enough and it's from that space that you can feel your highest peace and your highest joy one more time I am enough just as I am and if you're still in visualizing this situation see how it went for you are you more grounded you more centered were you more able to be your authentic self go ahead and take this feeling with you as you move throughout your day and throughout your week and throughout your life and you can always remember the fear comes in come back to this meditation you can come back to the mantra I am enough just as I am it's been my pleasure to guide you on this meditation if you'd like to see more of my meditations you can visit me at my website blueredmond.
