Let's start out by settling in.
That might mean to take your last movements,
Whether that be an itch or moving posture.
And then you know when you can give yourself the permission to just be.
Starting to come into the connection of your body and the interplay of the breath moving through the body.
As you start to sink in.
And feeling the hands rested on your thighs or by your side.
It might even be in between your legs.
Feel the connection of your body to a chair or cushion.
Let's use these next few moments to focus on our in-breaths and our out-breaths.
As a transition into our deeper selves.
Because it's in a meditation that we connect with all of those energies that sometimes we can't see with the naked eye.
Maybe on the next few rounds of breath opening to those energies.
And if there's no feeling that changes,
It's totally okay.
Just opening.
Understanding the sensation of the breath as it moves in.
And then following it as it moves out.
A few more just like that.
That's what you should be right now.
So as we move on through our life journey,
Sometimes we can get down on ourselves.
We can begin to doubt our process.
We can go through times of despair where we feel lost.
We could think that we're trying really hard but we don't yet see the fruits of our effort.
And this goes with a meditation practice as well as it goes with anything that we're aspiring to or working on in our outer life.
This practice is to remind ourselves that things are working out just as they should be.
And to connect with the deeper part of ourselves that knows that.
To let go of the small part,
The mind,
The thoughts,
The doubt and fear.
And to do this we're going to do a little bit of a visualization exercise.
So take a good conscious breath in.
Just clear all of that energy out.
Let it go.
And I'd like you to bring into your awareness in your mind's eye.
I'd like you to imagine yourself at the beginning of a brightly lit hallway.
Noticing what the walls look like.
Noticing the paint,
The floor,
Where the lights are,
Any hallway that comes to mind.
There's no right way.
We're simply going to start to slowly walk down this hallway.
Feeling each step.
Continuing to follow our breath.
And as we walk we notice that there is a door on the right that is open.
I'd like you to walk in that door and you see a light switch to your right.
Turn on the light switch and look around.
Now in this room represents all of the doubts and the fears and the worries.
All of those things that try to keep us small and keep us scared that life gives to us.
All of those worryful thoughts.
And they're represented maybe by situations.
Maybe there's pictures on the wall that represent a situation.
There might be people in this room that make you doubt yourself or make you fear.
You have those people in your life.
Allow them to just be in this room.
And again just look around and allow all of those doubts or fears to come out of you and be represented by someone or something in this room.
So maybe use each breath and notice where those fears coming up for you.
Or you question if things are working out.
Put them all out into this room.
And once you did that I'd like you to look around.
And what we're going to do is to thank all of these people and these situations and these doubts and these fears.
Thank them for what they have shown you.
Thank them for the work that they're allowing you to do on yourself.
Thank them for wanting to really just keep you safe.
To make sure that you don't fail or get hurt or embarrassed or ashamed.
All of those things that want to keep us safe.
Sometimes it's for our good or they have the good intentions.
So look around.
Thank them.
Maybe say Namaste if that works for you.
And I'd like you to tell them that they are not needed in your life anymore.
They've shown you what you need to see and their services are no longer welcome.
And once you've told everyone that,
Take a deep breath.
Turn back around.
Go ahead and close the light.
Walk out the door and shut the door.
Coming back out into the hallway.
And we're going to move on now that we've let this go.
We're going to actually walk back from where we've come.
Because we had to realize that we have to go back to where we already are.
Because we already have it.
So standing in the hallway looking back now from where you've come.
And take a deep breath.
I'm going to affirm a few things about our own process and our journey.
So you're welcome to repeat this silently or out loud.
Just allow the words to resonate where they need to.
Everything is working out just as it should.
I am doing what I need to do.
I am learning what I need to learn.
What may seem like a setback may actually be exactly what I need.
I am being guided to my highest truth.
I am supported.
I trust in the process.
I trust to let spirit lead the way.
I trust.
Everything is working out just as it should.
I am doing what I need to do.
I am learning what I need to learn.
What may seem like a setback may actually be just what I need.
I am being guided to my highest truth.
I am supported.
I trust in the process.
I trust to let spirit lead the way.
I trust.
I trust.
Take a good breath in and let that out.
Maybe you found one of those that resonate that you'd like to repeat here.
If not,
I'd like to just offer the mantra of,
I trust.
Inhale,
I.
Exhale,
Trust.
Repeating that.
As you do,
I'd like you to look up at the hallway and the walls and notice that there are pictures on the wall.
I'd like you to start walking forward.
And these pictures are pictures of you.
You doing all of the things that you wanted to do.
You achieving the goals that you've been working on.
You in relationships that you've wanted to have.
And they're of you,
The representative of you living your truth.
Of you living your highest calling.
Feeling all of that love and joy and peace and confidence.
As you walk down the hallway,
Noticing,
Breathing in all of that energy.
Everything that that brings to you.
And continuing,
I trust.
All these places you will go and the people that you will serve are on this wall.
The joy that you will bring them.
As you trust and step in to your purpose.
Now as you slowly walk,
You're going to get to the end of the hall.
Take your time.
Take in all of the joy and the good feelings and all of the positivity that this is bringing up.
And you look at the end of the hallway and there's just an openness.
Almost like it ends,
But there's this beautiful bright light at the end of the hallway.
Shining so bright.
As you walk to it,
Notice your breath and maybe you can feel that energy that we talked about when we started.
That we can't always see with our naked eye.
And I'd like you to walk to the very edge of the door.
And all you can see in front of you is this endless,
Beautiful white light.
And when you feel ready with a few more affirmations of,
I trust.
I'd like you to step over this edge and trust that by doing so you will be supported and caught and led and guided.
Go ahead and take your step.
And breathe in,
Allowing yourself to float through this beautiful sky.
Being supported by forces that you can't see.
You are so loved,
So cared for.
And allow yourself to begin to float through the sky knowing that everything is going to be okay.
And allow yourself to float back into the chair or your cushion,
Back into your body.
Back into the feelings of your physical body.
And it might feel good to maybe move,
Roll out the shoulders.
And then staying here as long as you'd like.
Maybe breathing in that feeling of trust one last time.
And then whenever you feel ready,
Gently coming back into the room by opening your eyes.
And coming back into your day.
I know that things are working out so incredibly for you and so often we just don't see.
I'm grateful you trusted me to guide you on this journey.
Sending you so much love and support as you navigate forward.
Thank you.
Namaste.
