Welcome to your guided Reiki self-treatment.
Find a comfortable seat,
Positioning yourself in a way that the body will distract you as little as possible.
And once you've found your seat,
Invite the eyes to close and the palms to press at heart center,
Moving into gassho meditation.
Start to drop your awareness into the place where the middle fingers touch.
And just allow yourself to feel into the hands.
An invitation to drop into that golden light Reiki breath.
When you breathe in drawing in golden light through the crown of the head down through the center of the body to the Tandon point just below the navel.
You may choose to hold the breath in here.
And then when your body cues you to exhale,
Release the breath and visualize this golden light pouring out through the mouth,
Through the hands,
Through the feet.
Continuing that visualization with your breath,
Just for a few more rounds.
With the intention to connect to universal life energy to allow it to flow through you.
For the greatest good of all beings.
When you are ready sweet one rub the palms together generate a little bit of heat in the hands,
And then place the palms over the eyes.
From here.
Slide the hands down to the jaw,
Bringing the heels of the hands towards the chin,
Fingertips towards the ears.
Open to the flow of key prana life force.
From here you can move the hands towards the back of the head.
An option to keep both hands interlaced at the back of the head,
Or keep one hand on the back of the head one hand on the crown.
And then as you're ready,
Both hands can come down to the back of the neck.
You may choose to interlace the fingers behind the neck.
You may even traction the spine a little bit so interlace the fingers and pull the head up,
Away from the shoulders.
And then as you're ready,
You'll slide one hand around to the front of the throat,
Possibly resting on the sternal not.
The other hand can come to rest on the heart center.
From there the hands can slide down to the low ribs.
Staying on the front side of the body.
From there the hands come down to rest on the belly.
You can either stack the hands on the belly.
Or place one hand above the navel.
One hand about the level of the navel,
Or maybe slightly below.
From here the hands will slide down toward the groins.
If that doesn't feel very accessible,
You can keep the hands towards the hips.
And here the hands will slide around to the low back.
And then from there,
Moving the hands over the space of the adrenals.
So they're going to come up the spine a little bit and towards the outside edges of the body.
So roughly the place where the back ribs meet the low back.
Continue softening,
Opening to the ki prana life force,
Trusting it to flow to where it is most needed.
As you're ready,
The hands will come up to the upper trapezius muscles.
So the back part of the shoulders just below the neck.
And then from here,
Hands will float down to rest on the knees.
And finally bringing the hands to the feet.
If it's accessible,
You could bring one hand to each foot.
Or you may choose to sandwich one foot at a time between two hands.
If you're taking the latter option,
You'll just stay a bit longer.
So if you're working one foot at a time,
You'll switch feet.
If you're working both feet together.
You could complete your practice now.
Move your hands to any other place where they feel called to rest.
And then as you're ready,
Sweet one.
Find stillness in your seat.
Press the palms together.
Awareness draws to the point where the middle fingertips touch.
Take about three rounds of that Reiki breath,
Drawing in golden light through the crown.
Down toward the Tandon point below the navel.
Holding it there.
And then exhaling it out through the mouth.
Hands,
Feet,
Allowing this prana rinse through your entire being.
You may choose to stay in meditation,
Or even to take a resting posture,
Shavasana.
Or if you are ready to move back into your day,
You can start to return the breath to a normal,
Effortless breath.
Taking your time to come out in a way that is most aligned for you.
