Let's get you sleeping better.
So lie down in your bed and make sure that you are in a comfortable position.
And from here I want you to take a few just clearing cleansing breaths.
Breathing in expanding through the ribcage,
Low ribs,
Side ribs move,
Followed by a long slow exhale.
A couple more breaths like that.
You might sigh or you might hum out.
Using the exhale to clear out any stagnant energy,
Any repressed emotion or excess heat.
And sending a message to the brain by means of breathing.
Letting your body know that it is safe to calm down,
Come down,
Rest,
Digest,
Heal,
Repair,
Create.
All with a long slow exhale.
Ideally twice as long as the inhale.
And you can keep breathing this way or if it feels right for you on the inhale imagine that you are drawing a healing golden light in through the crown.
Let it travel down the midline of the body to gather at the point just below the navel and then hold that breath in just for a moment or two and feel that energy collecting at that point just below the navel.
And then as you exhale out the mouth,
Imagine this light moving out through the mouth,
The hands,
The feet.
Taking a few breaths like that.
Full pranic internal rinse.
Life energy flushing through you.
Bringing a sense of rest and renewal.
And as you feel ready,
Let go of any control over the breath.
Letting the breath be effortless.
Awareness draws inward.
As you invite healing energy to flow through you,
Setting that simple intention.
Now sweet one feeling into the top of the head.
And allow this area to soften,
Relax,
Release.
And then directing attention to the forehead.
Allowing the forehead to soften,
Release tension.
Awareness then moves to the temples and into the space between the temples.
Let the eyes sink back in the sockets.
Allow the brain to softly float within the skull.
Let yourself simply feel the space between the temples.
And then sweet one,
Awareness moves to the back of the head.
The back of the head falls heavy into the pillow,
Into the support underneath you.
Soften and sink down,
Down,
Down.
Awareness moves into the bones of the body.
Traveling down the spine,
Into the rib cage,
Arm bones,
Hand bones,
Pelvis,
Leg bones,
Feet bones.
And let the bones surrender to the sweet pull of gravity.
Sinking down,
Down,
Down.
And now without changing your breath,
Count your breaths backwards from ten to one.
Staying soft,
Letting go.
Wherever you are in your breath count,
Release it.
And now for the reiki,
You can either imagine hands on you or if you feel inclined to move your hands into these points,
You can.
Golden light travels in through the crown and down through the arms to the hands.
And the first point is to rest the hands on the forehead or imagine hands on the forehead,
Keeping the body as soft as possible and resting here.
So as you are ready the hands will shift one palm to each temple or simply imagining hands on the temples.
Maybe imagining or feeling for energy pulsing from palm to palm,
Nourishing the inner landscape of the head.
So so And as you're ready,
Hands transition to the back of the head.
In whatever spot or position feels best for you.
Letting the head sink down,
Melting all the tension in the face.
Invite a sense of warmth and nourishment to pour in through the back of the head.
So so And when you're ready,
Sweet one,
The hands can transition to the top of the head,
The crown.
And as you focus on this area,
Open yourself to grace.
And if just for this moment allow yourself to sink into a state of faith,
Into a state of trust,
That everything is aligning for the greatest good.
Let go and let yourself be supported.
So And now,
Sweet one,
Invitation to release the hand positioning or if there's any other part of your body that is calling for your hands,
Feel free to place your hands there.
Allowing yourself to soften and sink even more.
And falling completely into that state of grace and faith.
For just this moment,
All is well.
Without changing the breath,
Count the breath back from 10 to 1.
And when you reach one,
You may choose to start again from 10 to 1.
So So So Soften and sink.
Soften and sink.
Sink.
Down,
Down,
Down.
