Transcript
Welcome to your guided self reiki practice.
I'll invite you to take either a seat or if you prefer you can lie down.
Finding whatever position is most comfortable for you and really just taking a moment to land.
Let the eyes close or rest the gaze on a single point as you start to feel into your body.
Notice the places where your body connects down to the floor to the earth beneath you.
Feeling into those points of pressure between your body and whatever is holding you.
Let yourself soften into that support.
Let the bones surrender to the pull of gravity.
Sinking down.
I'm going to count you through three rounds of 4-7-8 breathing.
It's an inhale for the count of four.
Holding that breath in for the count of seven and exhaling for the count of eight.
If you need to modify the breath count to try to keep the exhale twice as long as the inhale and you can shorten or drop the breath retention.
Let's exhale together here empty.
Breathing in two three four hold two three four five six seven exhale two three four five six seven eight.
Breathing in two three four hold two three four five six seven exhale two three four five six seven eight.
Breathing in two three four hold two three four five six seven exhale two three four five six seven eight.
And then a full breath in.
Relaxing breath out.
Using that exhale to release to relax this physical body.
Breathing in.
And out.
Continue to breathe and if it feels good you can imagine a golden light glowing above the crown.
A beautiful golden pool of life energy swirling above your head.
When you breathe in imagine drinking this golden light in through the crown letting it move through the midline of the body gathering pooling in the tendon point just below the navel.
You could hold that breath in and then when you're ready with the exhale letting that golden light move out through the mouth the hands the feet.
And again as you breathe in draw that golden light in through the crown down the midline of the body gathering just below the navel and when you're ready to exhale letting this light flush out through the mouth the hands the feet.
And as you breathe gather the full potency of your presence calling back all of you.
Attention draws inwards to feel this body this being this moment come home.
And as your attention draws inward your power concentrates.
In this moment releasing anything that is drawing you outside of your own being.
And in this moment you are the healer.
You are the one you've been waiting for searching for.
As the fullness of your being draws in you start to remember and reclaim how powerful how beautiful how infinite you are.
Breathe life into the healer inside you.
Breathe life into the wisdom inside you.
And soften into the beauty of life energy inside of you and all around you.
Softening into a state of faith and trust.
Rub your hands briskly together generating a little bit of heat and then keep the palms pressed in a prayer position at the heart center.
Gasho meditation allow your focus to drop into the point where the middle fingers touch.
The middle fingertip symbolizes the element of fire.
We call in the warmth of the fire.
We call in the illumination of the fire that we may see things clearly.
And we call in the transformative power of the fire.
We call in benevolent spirit guides the angels ancestors and any higher power you work with.
We call these beings in to facilitate insight healing and a recalibration of body and mind with our fullest expression.
From here sweet one you can land the hands over the eyes the fingertips point towards the forehead palms are cupped over the eyes.
Simply resting here.
I'm trusting the body to draw the Reiki energy to wherever it is needed.
Let the eyes sink back letting the brain soften.
Letting the body receive and rest.
And as you are ready the hands will shift towards the jaw fingertips to the temples and the base of the palms rest on the chin hands following the jawline.
Allow a physical softening in the jaw.
A mental softening of control in the outer world.
Trust and surrender.
Trust and let your body sink down into a state of renewal.
And as you're ready the hands will come to the back of the head.
You can interlace the fingers behind the head and cradle it in the hands or just your hands into whatever shape feels best on the back of the head.
The neck is soft the head is supported.
You are supported.
Breathe and feel.
And now the hands transition towards the throat cupping one hand around the back of the neck.
With the other hand resting the pinky finger side of the hand on the top of the chest the top of the sternum letting the hand just hover above the throat.
Awareness drops into the throat center.
Our center of truth and expression.
And soften and feel for your full expression.
Feel for what is ready to be expressed through you in this lifetime.
Without any searching or seeking or striving simply tune in to feel more.
As you're ready the hands will transition to the chest.
Whatever shape the hands take on the chest is welcome.
You may feel the pulsing of the heartbeat.
Letting that inner drumming draw you deeper inside the experience of this body.
Let it draw you deeper inside the experience of your own life energy vibrating,
Buzzing,
Pulsing within you.
As you're ready the hands will shift down to the point where the upper abdomen and low ribs meet.
Letting the hands simply land here as you feel the flow of the breath.
Without effort the hands rise and fall.
Riding the waves of your perfect breath.
And when you're ready letting the hands slide down to the middle of the abdomen.
You can either have the hands side by side,
Fingertips touch,
Or you may stack one hand above and one hand below.
Resting both hands on the abdomen.
And from here the hands make their way down to the front part of the pelvis,
The tendon point,
A powerful energetic point,
A couple of inches below the belly button.
Again you can either place the hands side by side or here you may choose to stack one hand over top of the other.
Feeling for the pulse of creativity inside you.
You feel that stirring of the energy of creation.
And from here we start to bring awareness and maybe hands to some points on the surface of the body.
So remember that the energy will be drawn by the body to wherever it is needed.
So if you cannot physically touch these points that is okay.
Just focus your awareness on these areas.
First we take the hands and the hands of the body.
Softening the armor of the heart.
Bringing freedom and ease to the breath.
And next the hands will shift to the mid-back around the space of the adrenals.
Landing somewhere around the base of the back ribs and the soft side of the back abdomen.
Hands and or attention landing here.
I'm breathing a sense of ease into the adrenals.
Feeling security stability in your bones.
In your heart in your soul.
Finding that stability and security that comes from drawing your awareness inside and remembering your connection to source.
And then transitioning the hands towards the back of the pelvis.
The sacrum hands and or attention lands here.
Letting the bones of the pelvis legs and feet sink down.
Down You Let the hands move away from the body.
This body in a state of renewal.
Allow yourself to rest here for a few minutes.
The body weaves and recalibrates your being.
Whenever you are ready to move back into your day,
Start to deepen the breath.
Thinking guides,
Angels,
Ancestors,
Higher power for their presence in this session and in your life beyond these walls.
