My name is Lisa and this is the astrology for the January 11th new moon in Capricorn.

So happy new year and happy 2024,

Happy ending of a Mercury retrograde and welcome to this new very much energetical fresh start in astrology as Mercury goes direct and there's clear communication and it's going to be a really beautiful start to the new year in terms of astrology.

I also pulled some tarot cards out to really get a sense of the energy for that day and I will give you guys some things to focus on or themes to focus on and maybe some journal questions for you or meditation questions for you.

So with that,

Let's go ahead and dive on into the energy of this day.

Capricorn is a sign that is one of my favorite signs because I'm a little biased and my fiance is Capricorn,

But it is one of my favorite signs,

Especially within family because they're always very helpful.

They always want to do their best in support.

They are very good homemakers.

They are very good leaders.

They are very good to collaborate with and they are hard workers.

A lot of Capricorns may hear this and be like,

Yes,

Yes I am and thank you for witnessing that.

Because even though Capricorns work incredibly hard,

They are the type to not be like Leos who are hard workers,

But eventually will need some sort of confirmation or validation.

They love the work,

But they also love the validation that comes with the work.

So that energy is great to work with in terms of intention setting because we get very clear on what it is we want.

We get very inspired to work hard and that energy feeding into the new moon,

Like I said,

January 1st,

Mercury,

The planet of communication is out of retrograde,

Which means there's going to be very clear communication and it goes direct in the sign of Capricorn.

So it's very clear on our goals,

What we want to do,

Who we are,

Where we're going,

Especially if you look at your houses,

See where Capricorn is in your birth chart.

This will also give you clear themes on where to work with.

And for those of you who are like,

What the heck is she talking about houses?

Don't even worry about it,

But it's the theme that Capricorn will affect in our everyday lives within the wheel of our life.

Then we have Mars entering Capricorn until February the 12th.

And this is a very juicy conjunction or a very juicy astrological happening because Mars is the planet of action.

And then we have Capricorn,

Which loves a nice plan.

So we are going to start feeling very action oriented in terms of our plans.

We're going to get very clear on how we want to approach our schedules,

Our intentions,

Our goals,

How we want to live,

How we want to approach this new year.

On January the 9th,

Mars will perform a sextile with Saturn.

And what that means is sextile is that there's going to be a bit of harmony and growth between Mars and Saturn.

And it's going to be this adulting moment where we recognize what we work towards,

Even if it's one step at a time,

Allows for us to reap any reward.

So it's going to be a very adult moment where we realize that the small wins,

The journey is sometimes more important than the end goal.

Saturn,

Of course,

Is the ruling planet of Capricorn.

So this is all very in alignment in themes.

And then on January the 11th,

We have our new moon in Capricorn.

For rituals and intentions one may wish to set up,

This is a great time to really think about money intentions,

Goal oriented intentions,

Things that allow you to feel stable and grounded in your everyday life.

This is very in alignment with Capricorn energy.

And the new moon in Capricorn really asks us to dive on into the ideas around what does it mean to be clear,

Structured,

And stable within our everyday life.

On this particular day,

The moon will be creating a trine,

Again trine is a blessing or favorable aspect with the planet of Uranus,

Which is the planet of innovation and revolution and taking things from a different perspective.

And Uranus is the planet of a revolution and innovation.

So we have this beautiful desire,

Emotional desire,

That gives us an ambition towards being creative and original when it comes to our goals,

Being innovative when it comes to our dreams,

And we're going to start to ask ourselves,

Well,

How can I do things differently this year?

And that's a great question to ask yourself if you're inclined to ask yourself,

How can I do things a little bit differently than I've done them before in all the years past?

And then we have the moon sextiling Neptune,

Again,

A very favorable transit aspect in astrology sextiles all about blessings.

And this is the time where we're going to get very intuitive.

I see in this particular transit that this is a time to really get into ritual spirituality,

To dream big when it comes to our goals,

To dream that all is possible.

I see a very feminine,

Intuitive nature with this kind of transit.

And Neptune will be in Pisces and moon will be in Capricorn.

And again,

Pisces is a very dreamlike sign,

Very artistic sign,

Very creative,

Very flowy,

Very emotionally intuitive.

So I think it's going to be great for the moon in Capricorn,

Which is going to be like really asking us,

Well,

How do we create this stable foundation for ourselves or goals or life while dreaming really,

Really big and getting creative?

And then last but not least for this day,

We have the moon in Capricorn conjunctioning Pluto,

Which is in Capricorn.

And that's like a whole other thing,

The whole journey of Pluto,

Which I can get into in another recording.

But this is going to be really asking ourselves,

What does transformation,

Real transformation,

Step-by-step transformation look like to us?

It tends to be a conjunction or an energy where we tend to not fear getting into the shadow work of things that we almost see getting into the shadow work of things,

Asking ourselves the hard questions that lead to transformation as a step to go where we need to go.

So this is going to be a really cool new moon,

And then the moon's going to kind of slip into Aquarius after that,

Which again is a very innovative,

Wants to do things differently kind of sign.

So I really sense that on this day,

The themes that are coming about is how can I do things differently?

How can I dive on into myself in a very honest and emotionally aware way that allows me to really propel towards my intentions,

Towards my goals?

What intentions and goals can I set that allow me to do things a bit differently this year and allow me to get creative when it comes to my future dreams and aspirations?

So that's again,

Beautiful energy to work with for the new year,

Especially because everyone's on like they really want to start a new chapter,

A new vibe,

And this is kind of this beautiful time.

In terms of tarot cards that I pulled for this day or the energy of this day,

I received the seven of wands,

The five of wands,

The world,

The nine of pentacles,

And the page of pentacles.

So again,

We have this very hardworking energy and the page of pentacles,

The nine of pentacles talks about some sort of financial independence,

Security,

That kind of energy that's happening.

We have the world,

Which talks about coming full circle.

And then the five of wands and seven of wands,

I feel is this play of really setting clear intentions,

Clear boundaries,

Standing up for what you believe in,

And also recognizing because we have the five of wands,

Which talks about this inner conflict,

Recognizing that sometimes these conflicts,

These things that happen,

Especially with Mars and Capricorn,

It tends to be a very fiery kind of relationship between the two signs and the planet.

Sometimes conflict,

Which we tend to as wellness people and yogis,

We tend to want to stay away from,

There is something called healthy conflict or fighting fairly,

Especially when it comes to standing your ground and saying,

This is what I need,

This is who I am,

And creating those healthy boundaries for yourself,

For others.

2024 is definitely going to be a year where relationships are going to be at the forefront of a lot of astrological themes.

So I think this is also a sign that if you have relationship goals or want to set more boundaries around your relationships for 2024,

I do believe that this new moon in Capricorn is going to help you get very,

Very clear on how you're going to do that and get very inspired on how you're going to do that.

As well as the Tara energy that's kind of pulling on this astrological aspect.

And I'm quite excited for this energy,

Especially because it really asks us,

What is it that we want to do differently this year?

What do we want to explore that will help us propel towards future goals,

How do I want to do things differently?

And what does real grounded stability look like for us in this 2024?

And how are we going to get grounded in our dreams and goals as well?
