Hello,
Gentle soul and friend.
My name is Lisa,
And welcome to your bedtime story,
Lunaria of the Seas,
The Crab's Poem.
Before we journey across the stars,
I want to take a moment to thank you for joining me and also for allowing me to guide you to a deep rest.
So let's go ahead and get you tucked in.
Feel free to get cozy,
Wiggling your toes,
Softening your shoulders,
Beginning to allow your breath to guide you like a wave with every inhale and every exhale.
You find yourself releasing any tension,
Any holding in the feet,
On the ankles,
The knees and shins,
And calf muscles.
As you inhale,
This energy travels up past the legs to lower back,
And feel yourself truly being supported,
Sinking in as you are held by the warmth and support of your bed,
Feeling the chest rise and fall like an ocean tide,
From shoulders to elbows and elbows to fingertips.
You feel the release of the day,
Feeling this energy travel from heart to jaw,
Neck and lips,
As you allow yourself to be held by this present moment,
As you breathe in and sigh out,
As the space between the brows and the crown of the head releases and lets go,
Letting this story be your lullaby,
Letting it soothe the edges and your soul like calm waves over water,
You are safe,
You are exactly where you are meant to be,
Let your body release deeper and deeper,
Like a pearl settling into a quiet tide pool,
Taking one big deep inhale into your body,
Let me carry you beyond our moon to Mintaka,
A distant water planet of endless sapphire seas,
And floating crystal islands that drift beneath twin lavender moons,
Born of moonlit tides,
Child of the moon goddess herself.
Selunara is the great moon goddess who weaves constellations into the sky,
Each night Selunara whispers silver truths to the waves,
And in Lunaria's childhood,
She sang lullabies of cosmic love from her place among the stars.
Lunaria wears robes stitched from midnight,
Hair shimmering like strands of captured moonlight,
And eyes that hold the reflection of every full moon she has ever known.
By day and night,
She heals the Manticon seas,
But tonight,
Her heart is tired.
Each evening,
Lunaria tends to coral gardens that crack in solar storms,
Soothes the aches of giant moon whales,
And guides lost starlight fish back to their schools.
But with every life she mends,
Her own light dims a little more.
On this night,
She stands at the edge of a floating crystal lagoon,
Her feet sunk into glowing sands.
Above,
Stars swirl in nebulae of lavender and indigo,
While the two moons cast a gentle halo around her weary figure.
Who heals the healer,
She wonders,
Her breath catching on the Manticon breeze.
How can I pour,
Heal,
Transform from an empty heart?
From the shifting silver foam comes a creature small yet radiant,
A Manticon crab,
Its opalescent shell glowing like a piece of fallen starlight.
It scuttles sideways to Lunaria's feet,
Eyes glinting like tiny sapphires.
Above the constellation,
Cancer brightens,
Forming the shape of two outstretched claws,
And nestled in its heart,
The figure of a woman shimmering in starlight.
Celunara,
The moon goddess,
Watches her daughter from the sky.
Her voice,
A breath of wind across galaxies,
Whispers,
My precious child,
Born of lunar tides,
The strongest hearts know when to pause,
Remember,
Like the crab,
To shelter and nurture your softness and spirit.
For only when you nurture and cherish yourself can you nurture,
Cherish,
And heal the world.
Lunaria kneels by the crab,
Feeling its cool,
Fragile claw press against the palm of her hand as it reaches to her with a knowing gaze.
She remembers her mother's lullabies,
And beneath every shell lies a heart worth protecting.
The moon's light is yours.
Your feelings are tides wise and true.
Let them teach you,
Cleanse you,
Guide you.
The Manticon Sea breathes in gentle swells.
Bioluminescent seagrass sways around her,
Casting glowing constellations on the waves.
Above Cancer's constellation pulses softly,
The stars themselves seeming to exhale in relief.
Lunaria breathes with them,
Knowing that true abundance is born from caring from her own heart,
And in this sacred pause,
One's spirit can begin to mend.
Beneath the shell of duty lies a pearl of gentle light.
Soft heart,
Deep waters,
Both your gift and quiet might.
Waves of feeling ebb and flow.
They teach,
They cleanse,
They free.
Nurture your own oceans.
Love yourself.
Be whole.
Just be.
Crabs move sideway,
Paths unseen,
Yet always find their way.
Trust your dance along the sands.
The moon will not guide you astray.
To feel is strength.
To rest is wise.
To cry is sacred too.
Remember,
Child of starlit tides,
Your heart deserves you.
You are the keeper of compassion's flame,
The guardian of softness proud of your name.
Under Cancer's constellation bright,
Let self-love bloom in silver light.
Lunaria rises,
Her hair caught in the cool breeze.
Eyes like liquid moonlight,
She turns to you,
Crossing the distance between galaxies,
And she whispers,
Precious soul,
These truths are yours,
From my heart and the moon's.
You are safe to feel deeply.
Your heart is a magnet for abundance.
Your emotions are your strength,
Not a flaw.
You deserve love as vast as the Mintaka seas.
Abundance flows to you like eternal tides of starlight.
You are worthy of being held.
You are worthy of nurturing always.
And let each word land softly,
Like pearls dropping into a quiet tide pool.
Above Cancer's constellation glows with the tender light of Selunara,
The moon goddess.
Her arms forever open to hold her child in you.
The Mintakan ocean hums a lullaby of slow waves.
Moon hellias drift around you,
Casting shifting constellations on your blanket.
The floating crystal islands sway gently in the alien sea,
Rocking you like a cradle of stars.
Feel Lunaria's presence near you,
Tucking you in,
Her song lacing through your breath.
Sleep now.
Remember the moon watches over you always.
Feel the peace of the Mintakan tides.
You are safe.
You are always worthy of care.
May you drift into dreams of silver waves,
Of starry skies,
And the quiet knowing that your heart is a sacred gift,
One that deserves to be cherished,
One that deserves to be held.
Sleep now.
Blessings and sweet dreams,
My friend.
And may your dreams be as loving and as magical as you are.
Until next time.
