Hello and welcome to the garden visualization.

So making yourself comfortable,

Making sure that you're comfortable on your chair or lying on the floor and just making yourself relax by closing your eyes,

Taking a nice slow deep breath and beginning to just notice any tension in your body and breathing into that area,

Just allowing your body to relax,

Your mind to be calm and still.

That's right,

Wonderful.

Taking a breath in and out and just enjoying this feeling of calm and relaxation.

And as you're breathing,

I just want you to imagine that you're walking in a garden.

It could be a garden from your memory or a garden from your imagination.

Just be aware as you walk through this garden,

What you can see,

Just notice the colors,

Maybe trees,

Flowers,

Plants,

And fully immerse yourself in the beauty of this garden.

Just looking around very quietly,

Very peacefully,

Noticing what you can hear.

Maybe you can hear birdsong,

Perhaps you can hear water,

Maybe a waterfall or a fountain,

Just paying attention to the sounds in your beautiful garden.

And then I'd like you to find somewhere to sit and rest in your garden,

Just maybe sitting on a wall or a bench,

Somewhere beautiful,

Somewhere relaxing and calming,

Where you feel totally at ease,

Surrounded by the beautiful peace and tranquility and beauty of this garden.

And then in the distance,

I want you to notice someone that you love coming towards you.

Just notice them getting closer and closer as you sit in this garden and notice how wonderful it feels to see this beautiful,

Wonderful person that you love.

And they come sit next to you and notice how wonderful it feels to have this shared experience of this amazing garden and how wonderful it is to have their company,

To have their presence close to you.

And then I'd like this person to perhaps offer you some advice or some wisdom.

Something that you know you need to hear now.

Just listen to what they have to say to you.

And then perhaps they also give you a gift.

Notice what that is.

Notice how loved and special and wonderful you feel.

Knowing that this person loves you and has your best interests totally at heart.

And then knowing that you can see this person again whenever you wish,

I'd like you to say goodbye to this person,

Feeling grateful for their love,

Grateful for their presence today in this garden.

And as they walk away,

Know you can return here anytime you want to meet them again.

It's just a calm breath of your imagination away.

And again,

Just walking around the garden,

Just feeling those wonderful feelings of peace and tranquility this garden inspires in you.

This garden is always here for you.

Whenever you feel you just need to recapture this feeling,

It's here for you.

And so with that in mind,

I'd like you to bring the wisdom and gift of your loved one and this feeling of peace back into your present.

As you start to open your eyes,

Maybe move your fingers and toes and bring yourself back to the present.
