Welcome to this guided sleep meditation called Autumn Fun Unicorns.

Let's begin in your bedroom.

Please squeeze your pillow,

Make it so dreamy,

Fluffy,

Ready for an adventure.

Then settle into bed.

Get comfortable and cozy and warm.

Blankets up to the chin.

Closing one eye for the autumn animals that listen to the seasons of the year.

Close the next eye for the great outdoors of nature that flow into this magical time of the year.

A unicorn rushes into your bedroom,

All warm and sunny from a great summer he had.

He glances at you for a moment,

But too excited and trots into your bedroom wardrobe.

He's sniffing and searching,

Looking for all your autumn magic clothes.

He drags out one by one your long walking boots,

Tosses your wellies over his hair too.

Takes a deep smell in to find your favourite woolly hat.

Looks for the longest scarf,

Then flies around your bedroom,

Singing of change that nature is magically doing.

And brewing up.

Coats that keep you dry and warm.

Gloves for every finger and thumb.

Then the unicorn counts from one to ten as you get ready for an adventure together.

So all you've got to do is wish and keep wishing to be ready,

Looking like an autumn explorer.

Ten seconds to wish.

Bring your telescope too,

For autumn stars will be in the sky this time of year.

But if you don't have one,

You can wish to borrow one too.

Now the unicorn is full of light,

And the fun begins when you two work with the light,

With all those lit up pumpkins.

Maybe a locked fire burning bright,

And candles glowing with the flame.

All through the dark autumn,

Which is usually after tea time.

Anyway,

Just enough time for a hot cocoa each,

And watch the steam rise into the autumn sky.

Remember hot drinks are so good right now.

So whilst the unicorn slurps his drink,

And your hands warm holding that chocolate drink.

So enjoy it in peace,

Ten seconds now.

It's time for a ride,

And to listen to the excitement that the unicorn is sharing from his heart to your heart.

So please get mounted quickly,

And hug your unicorn with your legs of course.

And at the count of three,

It's time to leave the bedroom.

One,

Two,

Three.

It is a lovely dry night,

As you both tune in to what autumn is all about.

You may notice the animals are busy preparing.

Yes,

One must prepare in autumn.

Geese do the autumn flight,

So look out for that one.

The beautiful hedgehogs are out feeding.

Lots of foraging,

So they each can sleep his winter long sleep,

Full of good nourishing food.

The playful squirrels gather gnats and hide them too,

For later a winter feast to last them to springtime.

After all,

Winter snow and not much will grow.

Magic trees.

Yes,

Who does not want to see the giant glow of red trees,

The dazzling yellow trees,

And fiery orange,

Even golden,

And even brown as a shiny conker.

It's amazing that thousands of little leaves can unite together,

Making the world so colourful.

Time to breathe in,

And smell with your nose,

The sweetness of super,

Ripe,

Wonderful fruit.

Made into apple pies and pear crumbles.

Lollipops,

Toffee apples,

And my tongue will dance happy to this.

Now pumpkins look so interesting.

Magical shapes,

And orange looks so good.

Green and yellow if you please.

Did you know they are 90% water?

And the largest pumpkin ever weighed 2,

700 pounds.

That's as heavy as a small car.

Autumn brings the news of change.

It's going to happen.

It will come true.

Autumn is as magical as you and your unicorn.

Although the sun will not shine all day long,

There will be many magical things,

Such as darker evenings will bring the stars out longer.

And so the fun begins.

Dark cannot exist without sparkling stars and candles glowing their light.

And though it may be a little coda,

It will be all about warm,

Even hot,

Delicious things to eat and warm your body up.

But when is the first day of autumn?

The autumn equinox happens September 22nd or September 23rd.

The first magical thing is the hours of daylight and dark nights are almost equal,

12 and 12,

Making 24 hours as time moves on.

In the wilder parts of nature,

Bears start eating a lot and build up a big body of fat so they can sleep all through the winter months.

And of course,

Many birds will fly south for their big winter journey called a migration.

So autumn,

The weather does change because Earth itself tilts away from the mighty sun.

And so this is all about sunlight is less,

So we are not as super warm or as bright.

But it is also a time to celebrate.

Many holidays and many festivals will happen.

One of the most famous is Halloween,

Celebrated October 31st.

People carve pumpkins into lanterns,

Dress up in costumes and go trick and treating.

There is also Thanksgiving,

A time to celebrate the harvest and give thanks.

But autumn brings its own special stars.

One of the most famous constellations to see is Pegasus,

Named after the winged horse in Greek mythology.

And also the Andromeda Galaxy,

The closest large galaxy to our very own.

The Andromeda Galaxy is very easy to see in autumn,

As it reaches its highest point in the sky.

And now it's time to let the unicorn lead the way and dream a very colorful dream,

Making it fun and magical,

Of course.

Remember,

Autumn is a magical time of year,

Filled with colorful changes,

Warm,

Cozy clothes and warm,

Delicious treats.

And jumping in piles of colored leaves,

Picking those pumpkins and gazing at all the stars.

So there's much to discover and enjoy together.

So have a very good dream.
