Transcript

Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

As you do so,

Come down into your body's weight and volume,

And the movements your body makes as you breathe.

Breathe out down the full length of your body,

Allowing your body to soften and release what it's brought with it here,

And no longer needs to carry.

Let it flow out and away.

Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.

Notice the surface is steady.

Give more of your weight to its support.

As you do so,

Notice the ground meeting your body's weight through the steadiness.

Steady,

Solid ground.

Breathe with the steady,

Solid energy of ground.

Let it steady you.

As you do so,

Draw yourself back from all the places you lie scattered.

The future,

The past,

And all ongoing concerns.

Let those attachments go.

And become aware of the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.

Notice the air is cool as it enters,

Warm as it leaves.

Notice the expansion of the in-breath,

As your chest and thorax open to receive nourishment in this moment.

Notice the release of the out,

The softening,

Letting go motion as the breath flows out.

Notice the out-breath is the body's natural relax.

Notice your breathing in from the space around you,

And out into it.

And notice the play of light and shade through your closed eyelids,

Right round your peripheral vision.

Notice the touch of the air on your face and body.

Let it be there.

Let everything be there.

In your own time,

And when you are ready,

Gently sense the horizon spreading ahead of you,

And all the way round you.

Into the distance,

And beyond.

Height of sky above.

Notice the spaciousness.

You have all of this space for you in this moment.

And breathe the spaciousness into you.

Breathe it deep into the core of your being.

As you do so,

Allow yourself to imagine a tranquil ocean.

Stretching ahead of you to infinity.

Clear blue sky,

Meeting Asia water.

All is peaceful.

All is calm.

Allow yourself some time to take in your surroundings.

The horizon spreading way out to either side of you.

Endless sea and sky.

The gentle sound of the waves moving up and down the shoreline.

A refreshing sea breeze on your skin.

Sunlight warming you.

As you receive the sunlight,

Let its renewing,

Life-giving energies bathe your face and body.

Recharging every cell within you.

Allow the beautiful light to restore all the places within you in need of healing.

Surrounding them with positive energy.

In your own time,

And when you are ready.

The gentle sound of the waves.

The touch of the sea air on your face and body.

The peaceful ambience around you.

And as you breathe out,

Allow everything your body has been holding and no longer needs to carry.

To flow out of you,

Into the ocean.

And allow everything your mind has been holding and no longer needs to carry.

To flow out into the ocean and away.

Breathe out everything the you inside has been holding and no longer needs to carry.

And let it all flow out into the ocean and away.

Know that you are an amazing being.

With an innate capacity to heal and grow.

Know that you have all the resources you need already within you and around you.

Breathe from the sea,

Sky,

And horizon.

Breathe in the beauty and peace of your surroundings.

Take what you need.

Allow it to nourish and renew you.

A wish out to the horizon.

Towards the light and the ocean.

Let it flow effortlessly out to the universe.

In your own time,

And when you are ready.

Gently come back to the sensation of air as it enters your nostrils and leaves.

And the movements your body makes as you breathe.

Notice the contact your body is making with the surface directly beneath you.

Notice the steadiness still there.

And breathe the steadiness of the ground up into your body.

Let it steady you.

Notice the beautiful energies of ocean,

Sky,

And light there within you still.

To take with you into the coming hours,

Days,

And weeks.

And give thanks for whatever you wish.

Send the thanks out into the universe.

Know that it is received.

Notice your breathing in from the space around you and out into it.

Notice you're here in this moment.

And in your own way,

Your own time,

You can draw this meditation to a close.
