Welcome to your embracing change meditation.
As we get started,
Welcome your body into a comfortable seated position.
Feel free to have your palms facing up to welcome that change that is coming your way.
Let the universe know that you are ready.
Take a nice deep inhale through the nose and hold it at the top.
Exhale let the breath go.
Let's set an intention for our practice.
It could be a mantra that you love or a word that brings you peace.
Whatever it may be,
Set that intention and carry it with you throughout your meditation.
Inhale that intention.
Exhale the intention back out into the world.
Change is inevitable in this life.
I'm sure when you look back a year ago,
Maybe even as little as a month ago,
You have noticed some kind of change in your life.
In order for us to grow as individuals,
There has to be some sort of change in our lives.
We have to honor this change and recognize that change is a good thing.
Change does not always mean that it has to be something major that has happened in your life.
It could be that you changed a morning routine.
Maybe you started meditating and that sets your day up differently than it did before.
Or maybe it is a bigger change and you have started a new job,
Moved to a new country,
Started a new relationship,
Maybe even welcomed a new family member into your life.
Whatever it may be,
These changes have made you into the person you are today.
Visualize your life from a few years ago.
Where were you then?
Maybe you were in a completely different chapter in your life.
How did you feel at that time?
Were you happy with where you were or were you searching for a change to happen?
Now visualize yourself today.
Maybe you are working at a different job.
Maybe you've moved homes or maybe not much has changed.
That is totally fine.
Sometimes change doesn't happen right away.
Change happens when it is meant to and when we are ready for it and welcoming it.
But wherever you are right now is where you are meant to be.
If not much has changed over the years,
Feel free to ask yourself if you want something to change.
Again,
It could be something as small as going for a daily walk,
Reading a chapter of a new book,
Or meeting up with friends once a week.
Your change doesn't have to be huge.
It can just be something that brings a new joy into your life.
Now visualize yourself one year from now.
Where are you?
What are you doing?
This could be a visualization of something you have been dreaming of for a while.
A trip you have taken that has been on your bucket list.
Visualize exactly where you are at that point in your life.
What would you say to yourself?
What have you accomplished in the last year?
What has changed in the last year?
Take a moment to see yourself a year from now and embrace that moment.
One year isn't a lot of time in the grand scheme of things,
But in a year,
A lot can change.
Change can be scary.
It can be intimidating.
We can get so used to a routine that we are currently in,
And the fear of the unknown,
The fear of change can creep up on us and make us question a big move.
But at the end of the day,
Whatever changes you make in your life are the right ones.
Change is all about letting go of what was and embracing what could be.
One thing that is guaranteed in this life is change.
And if you learn to embrace that and accept it for what it is,
You will be able to enjoy this thing called life.
Allow any changes to assist you in growing into your best self.
Think of all the changes that you have made in your life to bring you to this present moment.
A quote by Henry Bergson is,
To exist is to change,
To change is to mature,
To mature is to go on creating oneself endlessly.
Continue to create yourself.
Continue embracing that change.
Know that the universe is not sending you anything you cannot handle.
The universe is on your side.
All you have to do is welcome the change and the transitions of life.
If you feel comfortable,
Feel free to bring a smile onto your face.
With your palms still facing up so you can receive the energy of the universe,
Repeat these affirmations out loud or in your mind.
I am willing to trust the process of life now.
My life is evolving in a positive direction and I am grateful for it.
I embrace the changes in my life with curiosity and gratitude.
The universe brings me experiences that I can handle with ease.
I know that everything in my life is unfolding perfectly.
Change is a natural process of life that I welcome with open arms.
Now take a deep breath in through the nose and hold it at the top.
Come back to your intention that you set at the beginning of your practice.
Exhale and let it go.
Come back to your normal breathing.
Bring awareness to your beautiful heartbeat.
Bring awareness to your breath.
Notice if you feel any changes in your body from the beginning of the meditation to now.
Even the smallest change can make the biggest difference.
Thank you so much for joining me on this magical journey.
May you embrace every change that comes your way.
Have a beautiful day.
