Welcome to today's happiness meditation.
Wherever you are,
Get comfortable.
Try and get another 10% more comfortable.
Maybe it's bringing a blanket on top of you.
Maybe you're laying down.
Wherever you are,
Get cozy and get ready to feel happiness move through your body.
Take a nice deep inhale,
Filling up your belly.
And exhale out the mouth,
Letting it go.
One more time,
Inhale.
And exhale,
Letting it go and feeling each muscle in your body relax a little more.
What is happiness to you?
Take a moment to think about that question.
Is happiness being with someone that makes you laugh?
Is it traveling to a new part of the world and discovering something new about yourself?
Maybe it's in the little things that make you smile,
Like a walk in the park,
A dog running up to you,
A cup of coffee in the morning.
Whatever happiness is to you,
Feel that feeling start to move throughout your body.
Happiness is something that we can choose each and every day.
There are days where we may feel that it is exhausting to be happy and to find happiness in the little things.
That's life.
But it is our choice how we react to different situations,
How we react to something that did not go the way we expected.
Choosing happiness is not always the easy path,
But it is a path that is a choice.
When you choose happiness in your everyday life,
You are subconsciously or maybe consciously choosing to manifest good things.
The universe is listening to you and is honoring those feelings.
The universe is matching your vibration and you are allowing positivity to flow into your world.
Happiness is an electrifying and an elusive state.
It is a state of well-being that encompasses living the good life,
One with a sense of meaning and deep contentment.
Start to visualize one thing that brings you happiness.
As you visualize that,
Bring a slight smile onto your face.
Notice how your body changes when you see that one thing.
Does your body start to feel all tingly?
If you just feel a sense of calm,
That is totally fine as well.
When you visualize that one thing that brings you happiness,
Remember how you feel in this moment.
Internalize this feeling.
When you are faced with something that tried to dim your happiness and joy,
Come back to this moment.
Come back to the thing that brings you that happiness.
Again,
It is our choice how we react to a situation.
But if you can remember this moment,
It may help you look at a situation through a different lens.
Bring your happiness with you wherever you go and spread it around to others.
We all know this world needs a little more joy and a little more happiness in it.
A quote that I love about happiness by Deepak Chopra is,
Be happy for no reason,
Like a child.
If you are happy for a reason,
You are in trouble because that reason can be taken from you.
You can find happiness in many different things,
But ultimately make sure that happiness cannot be taken from you.
Own your happiness and joy and relish in that feeling.
If there is a moment where you feel your happiness might be slipping away,
Reflect on a moment that brought you laughter.
And if you feel it is right for you at that time,
Put a smile on your face.
Start to laugh.
Sometimes when we force ourselves to do these things,
It turns into a genuine smile,
A genuine laugh.
Find the happiness in a belly laugh.
Find happiness in feeling good in your own skin.
Find happiness even when it's raining outside.
Go dance in the rain and embrace every moment.
Happiness is surrounding you.
All you have to do is embrace it.
Repeat these affirmations either out loud or in your mind and welcome a smile onto your face.
Feel each word resonate within you.
You may also place a hand on your heart.
I create the life I desire with my good feelings.
When I feel happy,
I manifest more reasons to be happy.
I accept that happiness is my true nature.
I experience joy in everything I do.
I allow myself to feel good.
My happiness I feel is felt by everyone around me.
My happiness is reflected back to me in everything I attract.
Now take a deep breath in and hold it at the top.
And exhale,
Release that breath.
Release your hands down onto your lap.
Take a moment here to just be.
That feeling that you are feeling now,
Take it with you into your everyday life.
If you ever just need a moment to feel happiness,
Come back to that memory or take a few minutes to reflect and then choose happiness.
At the end of the day,
It's your choice how you live your life.
Create a life full of love,
Gratitude,
Laughter,
And happiness.
