Hello friends and welcome to your positive affirmations meditation.
Wherever you may be,
Get comfortable.
Feel free to do this meditation sitting on a cushion,
Sitting on your bed,
Maybe laying down wherever you feel the most comfortable and at ease.
Softly close your eyes.
Notice the darkness behind your eyelids.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Let's take a big inhale and exhale let it go.
Let your breath bring you here to this present moment.
Positive thinking doesn't mean that you keep your head in the clouds and ignore life's less pleasant situations.
Positive thinking means that you approach unpleasantness with a positive mindset.
You think the best is going to happen,
Not the worst.
There is a quote by John Wooden where he says,
Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.
Now there may be days where we find it hard to be positive.
Maybe we are going through a rough patch in our lives and we feel that we can't catch a break.
That's alright.
Honour the way you feel.
If there is a time where you are feeling that way,
These are some affirmations you can repeat to yourself.
You can use these any day,
Any time,
Even as soon as you wake up in the morning and right before you go to bed.
Now start to imagine yourself at the top of a staircase.
At the bottom of the staircase is your favourite place in the entire world.
The place that you feel your best,
Your most relaxed and your most at peace.
As you go down each step of that staircase,
Repeat each of these affirmations either in your mind or out loud and let each word sink in.
I am not my negative thoughts.
My body is healthy.
My mind is brilliant.
My soul is tranquil.
May I love and accept myself just as I am.
May I be at peace with what comes.
I welcome the magic into my life.
My ability to conquer my challenges is limitless.
My potential to succeed is infinite.
I give myself permission to do what is right for me.
I honor myself and my feelings.
May I accept things as they are.
I give myself the care and attention that I deserve.
I am always headed in the right direction.
I trust that I am on the right path.
You have now reached the bottom of the staircase.
You have reached your favorite place.
Notice how you feel being in this place.
Feel those words resonate deep inside.
Enjoy this feeling you are having right now.
Feel the happiness and positivity moving throughout your body.
And if you feel comfortable,
Bring a smile on your beautiful face.
Now take a deep inhale and hold it at the top.
Feel the affirmations come alive within you.
And exhale letting it go.
Feel free to pick one or a few of these affirmations and repeat it every single day.
Let the power of the words bring even more positivity into your life.
Whenever you are ready,
Start to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Bring your awareness back into your space.
Reach your arms way up above your head.
Give yourself a beautiful stretch.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
Take a look around.
Look at all of the beauty surrounding you.
