Welcome to your pause and be present meditation.
Thank you for being here and for taking the time for yourself.
We will start by taking a moment to pause,
A moment to focus on your breath.
Feel your belly rise and your belly fall.
Feel your chest rise with each inhale and fall with each exhale.
Feel your heartbeat in your chest.
Let that beat of your heart bring you into this present moment.
Let your breath bring you peace.
Take a moment,
Take a pause.
If thoughts about what you need to do later in the day or something you did before this practice come to mind,
Just come back to your breath and let those thoughts go.
Feel your body relax.
Welcome yourself and your mind into this present moment.
Be here now.
Start to think about something that you are excited about.
It may be something that you have been looking forward to for some time.
Meeting up with a friend or a family member,
Exploring a new place,
Reading a new book.
Whatever it may be,
Think of that one thing.
And when you do,
Put a smile on your face,
Feel as if you are in that moment now.
It's nice to feel that excitement and that giddiness of something new happening.
But also remember that there is greatness surrounding you right now.
Try saying,
I am excited for this to happen,
Rather than I can't wait for this to happen.
Remain in the present moment,
But be excited for that event coming up.
When we say we can't wait for something,
We start to wish time away.
We forget about this moment that we are currently in.
Sometimes we look to the future for our happiness.
But try to find the happiness where you are now,
At this time.
Enjoy the moments that are currently happening.
And when that future moment comes,
Live in it and enjoy it then.
Repeat these affirmations to yourself.
I am present.
I am whole.
I am patient.
I am love and light.
I am here now.
I am open to what the universe brings to me.
Now take a deep breath and let it go.
Let the universe do the work.
The universe is working with you and all of your angels are supporting you.
Your future is bright.
There is no need to worry.
You are safe and you are loved.
That moment or event that you are excited about,
Carry that excitement with you throughout your day.
Let that excitement shine and share that with the world.
