Use this guided meditation to employ your breath and your awareness to bring full presence to all of your body, awakening the major aspects and organs to work more fully with all you encounter throughout the day. Based on the theory of Chinese Medicine and utilizing visualizations, you’ll be guided to connect consciously with different parts of your physical form and consider the work they engage autonomically and energetically to process your life in a moment-to-moment way. Step into your day with appreciation and awareness for the miracle that is your human form. You may want to find an image of the human body and familiarize yourself with the location of your organs, but it isn’t necessary. Music by Chris Collins accompanies this guided meditation.

Welcome.

The focus of this guided meditation is to connect consciously with your body internally.

You'll use your imagination to visualize the organs inside as you move your awareness up and around your body.

Let's begin.

Sitting up tall or standing with feet planted on the floor,

We'll use both breath and awareness as activators to the organs in the body.

So begin by feeling your breath entering and leaving your body as you breathe in and out.

Inhale fresh life into your body and release your energy as you exhale.

Feel your breath.

Notice the expansion and contraction of your body as you breathe in and out.

Now bring your attention to your feet.

Feel the bottom of them.

Feel your souls connected to where you're standing.

Take a moment to remember as you breathe in and out that you are on and of the earth.

Take a moment to feel gratitude for earth,

Her living,

Pulsing,

Vibrant being of a planet where you source life from her great energetic configuration.

Breathe into the connection of your feet on the ground of this great mother.

Hold your attention here as you take another breath in and out.

Now breathe into your legs.

Ask your breath to wake up your legs.

Sense the energy here that can carry you forth,

Allowing you to move,

Walk,

To step through your day.

Ask your legs and feet to step with care wherever they take you.

Hold your attention in your legs as you take another breath in and out.

As you take another breath in and out.

Move your attention up into the trunk of your body,

Bringing it into the lower part of the trunk of your body.

Now breathe into your intestines.

Ask them to wake up fully and help you release all that you do not need in your day.

Thank them for keeping your body pure and free and clear of debris.

Hold your attention here as you take another breath in and out.

Now breathe into your reproductive organs,

Your organs of creation of creativity.

Ask them to awaken and engage so that you can use your creative nature,

Your creative expression,

Especially when you're challenged.

Thank them for bringing new life to you and through you every day.

Hold your attention here as you take another breath in and out.

Now move your attention to the middle of the trunk of your body.

Breathe into your liver.

Ask it to awaken and be ready to process any toxic energy,

Any anger that arises as you move through your day.

Thank your liver for helping keep you healthy,

For supporting you as a filter of harmful energies to your body.

Hold your attention here as you breathe in and out.

Hold your attention here as you breathe in and out.

Now breathe into your kidneys.

Ask them to awaken and engage.

Get ready to move all fear through your body along with the liquids that you no longer need.

Invite your kidneys to move any anxiety gently through your body.

Remembering that you have your creative nature to address any fear.

Hold your attention here as you take another breath in and out.

And now breathe into your stomach.

Ask it to awaken so that it can digest all that you bring in inside you this day.

Invite your stomach to gently accept what comes towards you and to take in the truth of your life.

Thank your stomach for working and giving you the strength that you need to process life.

Hold your attention on your stomach as you take another breath in and out.

And now move your attention into the upper part of the trunk of your body.

Breathe into your heart now.

Ask it to wake up.

Ask it to open a little more with every breath.

Thank your heart for the courage to be all that you are,

To bring all the love you're capable of into every part of your day,

Always remembering just how courageous you can be.

Hold your attention at your heart as you take another breath in and out.

And now breathe into your lungs.

Ask them to wake up and activate fully.

Get ready to move through,

Into,

And out of all disappointments of your day.

Letting all sadness pass through you as you breathe,

Helping you to soften,

To become more connected with all of life,

Helping you to soften,

To become more connected with all of life,

Knowing you can handle whatever comes your way.

Thank your lungs for constantly moving your breath through your body.

Keep your attention at your lungs as you take another breath in and out.

Move your attention up into your throat and head.

Ask all your glands to turn on as you breathe into your throat,

Your head,

The back of your scalp.

Open your mind and remember that your mind is supported by healthy functioning of hormonal balance.

So breathe into all your glands,

Your brain,

Your intuitive capacity.

Ask them all to work in harmony so that you can perform and engage optimally today.

Ask to see the biggest picture of your life,

And yet be ready to breathe into the smallest details of your day with grace.

Take a moment to appreciate your thinking mind.

Hold your attention at your head as you take another breath in and out.

Finally,

Breathe into your arms and hands.

Let your hands touch your legs,

Move them on your skin.

Thank your skin for filtering out all that might harm you,

For keeping you protected from bacteria and germs.

Breathe into your palms as you hold them in front of you,

And ask them to reach into what is for you this day with care,

With awareness,

And with humility.

And now breathe into your whole body with gratitude for all its effortless work.

And now go enjoy your day.

Thank you for being with me.
