Hello,

And welcome to this bedtime gratitude practice to help you fall asleep feeling positive and at peace about your day.

If you haven't already,

Find a comfortable position for you,

Maybe lying down on your back as you prepare your body for sleep.

Once you're there,

Allow your eyes to gently close,

And I invite you to bring one hand to the heart and one hand to the belly.

Start to take slower,

Deeper breaths,

Signaling to your mind and body that it's time to rest.

Soften any tension in the face.

Allow the belly to totally release.

Relax any tension in the face.

Allow the belly to totally soften.

Maybe even sigh or yawn as a way to release any built-up tension.

Beautiful.

Now what's one thing from your day that you genuinely feel grateful for?

Maybe it's just that you got through the day.

Maybe it's that the sun was shining or you got to cuddle a pet.

Maybe it's that you had enough to eat.

It doesn't matter what it is,

But what's something you genuinely feel grateful for today?

Focus on whatever it is that came to mind,

And just breathe into that feeling of gratitude.

Let that feeling of gratitude expand and fill you,

Allowing feelings of peace to come with it.

Beautiful.

I invite you now to say thank you for anything else you'd like to.

Thank you to life,

To certain people or things that made your day better,

And thank you to yourself for all the ways that you showed up.

Take that time right now to say thank you.

Beautiful.

Taking a moment to just see what gratitude feels like in the body.

Beautiful.

Allow this gratitude and peace to quiet the mind and soften the body,

Trusting it will follow you into tomorrow.

Every breath now takes you deeper into rest,

And I wish you the most peaceful night of sleep.

Sweet dreams.
