Good morning,
And welcome to this meditation to start the day with a beautiful,
Positive feeling of joy.
If you haven't already,
Find a comfortable position and allow your eyes to gently close.
We'll start connecting to the present moment by taking a few deep breaths with full inhales that expand the belly and long exhales that soften the body even more each time.
Breathing deeply and fully on your own time.
Feel as tension releases from the forehead,
The jaw,
The neck and shoulders,
And all the way down to the feet.
Allow anywhere that you may be holding to loosen and release.
Good.
Now turn your focus to your breath,
Observing your breath as you breathe in and out of the nose.
Feel the breath as it moves in your body and allow it to be an anchor for your awareness.
As you watch your breath,
Observe any sensations you feel in your body,
Maybe how your chest rises and falls,
Or maybe there's tingling in the fingertips.
Just notice any sensations present in the body.
If you find that your mind has wandered,
That's perfectly natural.
Just acknowledge that it's wandered and then let the thoughts go and gently bring your focus back to the breath and any sensations you're feeling.
Beautiful.
Now I want you to think of one moment in your life that was particularly joyful,
Any moment that comes to mind where you felt so much joy and begin to visualize it in as much detail as possible.
Where were you?
Who were you with?
What were you doing,
Wearing,
Seeing and smelling?
Maybe a smile is already spreading across your face.
Can you feel that joy that you felt that day in that moment?
And as you think of it,
Can you feel that joy around your heart space,
That area in the center of your chest?
What does it feel like in your body right now?
Whether you can feel something or not,
Imagine that joy is this shimmery white light in your heart and it has this warm,
Comforting feel to it.
Now start to allow that feeling,
That white,
Shimmery,
Warm light spread throughout your body.
Feel it moving out from your heart,
Up your chest and neck,
Up the face until it reaches the top of your head and then it moves out toward your right shoulder,
Down your right arm until it reaches each fingertip.
And then it does the same from your left shoulder,
Down your left arm.
Feel this warm white light touch every cell and your left arm down to your fingertips.
Now it's moving from your upper back down to your mid and low back and into your entire abdomen and belly.
Then allow this shimmery,
Warm light to move down your hips and pelvis,
Into your seat.
Then it slowly goes down your right leg,
First the thigh,
Then the knee,
The shin and calf.
And down into the foot until it reaches each toe.
And now it does the same on the left leg,
Starting at the thigh and slowly making its way down past the knee,
The shin and calf.
Into the foot until it reaches each toe.
Now your whole body is filled with this warm shimmery light representing joy.
Bring an awareness to your whole body and feel how that one joyous moment can fill your entire body with warm,
Fuzzy feelings.
And now ask yourself,
How does this feel?
And now ask yourself,
How can I connect to joy today?
What is something small I can do to help bring me back to this feeling throughout the day?
Beautiful.
Now repeat the following affirmations after me.
I am filled with joy and happiness.
My life is wildly joyful.
I attract joy.
I find joy everywhere.
I embody joy.
I bring joy to people around me.
I am worthy of joy and happiness.
I set an intention to enjoy today and every day.
Take a few deep breaths to let those affirmations sink into your being.

Now I invite you to extend gratitude to yourself for taking the time to do this practice and show yourself love in this way.
Then taking as much time as you'd like whenever you feel ready,
Slowly and gently open your eyes.
